As GH stated, very clearly, back in early 2019, the markets just don't get it!

Here today, IMHO, it's a very similar situation. If I'm wrong, I'm more than happy to hold my hands up, BUT, this surely is, and has been for some time now, one, if not the biggest, gold motherlodes, for at least 1-2 generations!

That, don't forget, is even before we, as shareholders, even delve into the potential of the 100% owned Scallywag project!

What more can one say, and I apologise again if it all sounds trite to some, but I've been saying the same for years now, and hopefully we'll all reap the benefits, often, for years, negatively derided by so many!

So Scallywag doesn't even get a look in yet?! ;-)

"The Havieron Joint Venture Agreement formalises our relationship with Newcrest beyond the existing farm-in, and with this agreement in place, we expect to progress rapidly towards the potential establishment of mining operations over the next two to three years. Importantly, the new Havieron Loan Agreement with Newcrest secures for us our share of the necessary monies to accelerate activities at the Havieron project. Indeed, based on current forecasts, we now expect to be funded for our share of expenditure, including the costs associated with the construction of the decline and an expanded exploration programme at Havieron, up to the completion of the Feasibility Study. Newcrest Mining has formed a joint venture with Greatland Gold at the Havieron gold-copper project, 45 kilometres east of its Telfer gold mine in Western Australia’s Paterson Province.

The company is now entitled to earn an additional 20 per cent interest in the JV, making its total JV interest holding 60 per cent, having met the expenditure requirement of $US45 million ($60 million).

Under the newly formed JV agreement, Newcrest will provide Greatland Gold with a $US50 million loan to fund early works and drilling at Havieron.

Newcrest will be able to earn up to 70 per cent interest in Havieron should it meet the spending requirement of $US65 million and deliver a pre-feasibility study....

Key Upcoming Milestones

-- Initial Mineral Resource on Track: Initial Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate for Havieron expected to be delivered in December 2020.

-- Early Works Commencement: New camp at Havieron, with accommodation for up to 230 people, is nearly completed, and construction of box cut and decline is expected to commence late 2020 or early 2021, subject to receipt of required approvals.

-- Pre-Feasibility Study: A Pre-Feasibility Study for Havieron, including an Indicated Mineral Resource Estimate, is expected to be delivered by late 2021.

-- Juri JV Exploration Activities: Drilling of high-priority targets, including Parlay and Goliath, is expected to commence in early 2021.

Newcrest Mining Limited (ASX, TSX, PNGX: NCM) has entered into a fully-termed Joint Venture Agreement with Greatland Gold plc ( Greatland Gold ) for the Havieron Project which is located 45km east of its existing Telfer operation, and has agreed to provide Greatland Gold with a US$50 million loan to fund certain early works and growth drilling activities at the Project.

Newcrest has now met the Stage 3 expenditure requirement ( US$45 million ) and is entitled to earn an additional 20% joint venture interest, resulting in an overall joint venture interest of 60%.

Additionally, Newcrest has entered into a Farm-in and Joint Venture Agreement with respect to Greatland Gold’s Black Hills and Paterson Range East exploration licences, through a new joint venture agreement with Greatland Gold called the Juri Joint Venture.

Newcrest Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Sandeep Biswas , said “We are excited to extend our relationship with Greatland Gold and expand our presence in the highly prospective Paterson Province . The Havieron Joint Venture and Loan Agreements support the continued progress at Havieron with the potential to deliver commercial production within two to three years from the commencement of the decline.
