I don't know about anyone else, but one of the things that I was particularly impressed with was the totally relaxed way in which the BOD handled the presentations today. I don't think I've heard GH more relaxed with what he was saying, especially the piece about our company transitioning and maximising shareholder value. TT

GH has basically stated that we're moving into a different operation type, alongside exploring only.

Back in February 2018 he stated that, "..the job now is to push forward and maximise shareholder value...", that Greatland can take it "the whole way - exploration, development, feasibility to production...The key in the modern mining industry is in scale - large intervals of mineralisation..."

GH stated almost exactly the same today in essentially confirming the change in style & operation. TT

Confirmed by GH at the AGM this morning that the Newcrest exploration interims will be published this Thursday AM, so Wednesday PM UK time. TT

It could well be another two steps forwards, one step back, and repeat day, which we've seen more of recently.

Take your pick, which it should be, "from neutral to outperform", or "to neutral from underperform"?? I can't find another source currently, but, anyway, it's an upgrade based largely on copper.

Macquarie upgrades Newcrest Mining (NCM) rating from neutral to outperform. Retains $29.00 price target. Reviews recent changes in gold price and weakness in share price. Upgrades on a valuation basis.
