Sadly, as most long term investors should well know already, as Greatland Gold becomes more well known to the masses, the more likely it is to face some selling, sometimes large, from those parties that are totally clueless about the company!

Indeed! Like you, and many others, "At depth" has become, and increasingly so, IMHO, one of the major factors at Havieron, if not much more of the Paterson region generally! TT

A small drop in the sp, prior to what will undoubtably be, IMHO, more fantastic drill results from the once in a generation, maybe even two generations, motherlode!

Nothing new! Those in the know, with good research, will always be well ahead of the market manipulators!

With the impending 12th set of Havieron drill results due tomorrow (tonight UK time), GH is very likely to give an interview with either Proactive and/or BRR Media on Thursday morning.

IMHO, I can't see the 12th set being any different for the 11 previous results (ie. excellent!).

GH is becoming somewhat known now, among many, for his superlatives.

Therefore, what superlative(s) do you think that GH will use in the interview?

No prizes...Well maybe a pint from me after the next AGM, but no promises!

Whether right or wrong, it would also, most likely, be spread over a few years tax payment.

I'm pretty certain that GH will have to think up, or even make up, a completely new superlative to use! GLA! TT

As I just posted elsewhere, along the same lines, has GH ever said that they haven't already received some assays from the lab? No! IMHO they probably have already received some from the first drill holes, and are awaiting the full set, as many people, including myself believe. They COULD have sent them all to the labs together, but that would be unusual. TT

@ Tymers What do you mean "Again"? Did I miss something in my post? I thought I'd been helpful in my answer. Clearly, from Clayton's comments THEY are receiving assays, almost certainly Artemis, and the assays are being delayed for everyone. TT

They're definitely coming out of the labs, just delayed. As Alastair Clayton said a couple of weeks ago, "It's just us and every other company that's complaining about waiting for their assays, but look, that's part of life, and you just have to manage it. We've been feeding the labs since early October and, while the sausage machine might be busy, and a bit slow at the moment, they are coming out the other end."

Greatland Gold: when will we see initial resources estimate? The armchair trader

After an extensive drilling campaign AIM-listed exploration firm Greatland Gold (LSE:GGP) is within a whisker of being able to announce its initial resources estimate. The company expects to be able to publish the estimate just before Christmas or shortly after. The slight delay was caused by a backlog in Australian laboratories where frantic exploration activity has created bottlenecks.

Greatland Gold has had an exceptionally successful year at its Havieron gold-copper deposit in the Paterson region in Western Australia where test drilling has been showing progressively better and better results and has lead to the discovery of additional areas that could be mined in the future....

With respect your post is somewhat illogical because Motley Fool have promoted Greatland Gold, off & on, since at least back in August 2019, when the sp was around 1.7p. Was that the time to get out? I think not! So, why should it matter now when the sp is at 33p?!

Maybe you need to do some more research?

@ Aquakidd I think they were referring to a US tech stock re Amazon. It's a link that they often do at the bottom of their pieces. However, the piece was positive on GGP.

I'm sure that there'll probably be a massive turn out next year. I don't know if they'll fit everyone in at the East India Club, but hopefully will. It'll them be down to the Red Lion when a lot of us can hopefully have a few pints together! looking forward to it already! TT
