Greatland Gold PLC's (LON:GGP) Shaun Day talks Proactive's Andrew Scott through the latest drilling update on the Havieron gold-copper project in Western Australia. Latest results include seven new drill holes from the growth drilling programme with all holes intersecting significant mineralisation. Day adds that construction activities are progressing well with the decline contractor now moving to 24-hour operations.

Just look at the confirmation of extension to the High Grade Zones and still OPEN!

As Barry Fitzgerald stated recently, "Telfer actually enjoyed an all-in sustaining margin of $US257/oz in the December quarter which was novel in itself. That was from ore (gold) grading all of 0.81 g/t (NOW 0.87g/t) and 0.15% copper (NOW 0.13 g/t). Throw in some 5-10g/t gold 0.5% copper with that lot and Telfer would once again be humming."

Gold production of 126koz was 19% higher than the prior period driven by higher throughput and recovery, partially offset by lower head grade and a reduction in dump leach ounces. Mill throughput was 20% higher in the June 2021 quarter reflecting the increased operational run time. The increase in gold recovery is a result of successful sulphur blending strategies together with other recovery improvement initiatives.

Telfer's AISC of $1,203/oz was 19% lower than the prior period primarily driven by higher gold and copper sales volumes and a higher realised copper price. These benefits were partially offset by an increase in sustaining capital expenditure and higher treatment, refining and transportation costs and royalty payments.

Did he look after number 1 before leaving Greatland Gold?

Personally I don't care what GH has done, or intends to do in his personal investment strategy, which will undoubtedly suit his own life.

What's more, good luck to him in whatever he has done, and does in future.

Rubbish! IMHO!

GH had the balls to drill deep at Havieron. Without that significant viewpoint and action we wouldn't be where we are now!

So, one day before the next Newcrest Mining assay results from Havieron, which SHOULD, on most indications, probably be more comprehensive than the last couple of NCM assay results, we're seeing, so far, one of the lowest trade volumes for some time.

Is this any indication of what's coming? Who know's! But, IMHO, it's probably going to be one of the most positive to date.

As a side line, I still cannot understand, and probably never will, the idiot posts you see on investment forums and/or specific share forums, that criticize any individual investor's strategy!

Mine have changed, just as have most investor's, during their life!

What do these people, that are always criticizing others, think that they are gaining?!

Gervaise Heddle, QUITE RIGHTLY, used pretty much every possible superlative, some more than once, over the couple of years before leaving Greatland Gold, with reference to the latest (at the times) assays from Havieron.

I have no doubt, whatsoever, that Shaun Day will be joining GH, yet again, with one, or more, tonight (UK time).

OK, a new one is unlikely, there are only so many that you can use to describe what is probably a once in a generation, or indeed more, gold/copper, etc. mother lode, which is open in all directions and at DEPTH, but it'll be interesting to see!

Whether or not the markets get it is to be seen, but, we all know where this is going medium/long term, and there is no doublt about that in my mind, whatsoever.
