As we know, from when we got the last four drill results from Scallywag in April, Shaun Day stated, " With these encouraging initial drill results, we now have a significantly enhanced understanding of Scallywag's geology and have been able to identify multiple compelling targets that merit follow-up drilling in the coming weeks and months, particularly Swan, Teach and Architeuthis. These will form an important part of the comprehensive exploration campaign we are conducting across our 100% licences and our Juri Joint Venture."

Thanks again to Alastair Ford, who, yes, I agree news, is stating what you believe, and many of us do too, and have for some considerable time!

As the US dollar gold price has bounced around the low to mid $US1800/oz level the Aussie dollar has weakened, falling from levels near US78 cents to US73.3 cents.

The feeble local dollar means our gold companies are earning more per ounce (although this has nothing on the US58c mark briefly hit in March last year)....

I think that I can safely say that most of us agree and have known all this for some time now.

As for the markets, well, as GH often said, they often also just "don't get it"

"Maybe one of the biggest gold discoveries of recent decades"

"Really, really, large amounts of tonnage" across such huge intercepts that the tonnage will be immense!

Hi Rojvall. IMHO that would be getting way ahead of where we are currently, and, as indicated by SD, there are no immediate plans to list even on the ASX.

Newcrest Mining only received conditional approval to list on the Toronto Stock Exchange in October last year, whilst retaining its primary listing on the ASX, and its secondary listing on PNGX Markets.

Let's be quite straight, it is what it is, so, IMHO, there's absolutely no point in fretting on a daily, weekly, or more, basis.

We all know where this is going down the road (ie. down the drill bits!) at Havieron alone.

Personally, in all my many years in investment (a lot!), I've never, ever, had a share that, IMHO, is underpinned so significantly, and then some, by Havieron alone, which is only a part of our tenement holdings in the increasingly 'valuable' Paterson region.

It just takes time, which includes periods of 'manipulation', for sure, BUT, it's patently obvious to me where this is going medium/long term, as it has been for some significant time now.

Semi-rant over! Please DYOR & GLA and thank you to the people that, we all know, provide amazing research into Greatland Gold/Newcrest, for absolutely nothing. They all deserve a medal! Gold, for sure, from the first pour!

If Berenberg were giving a new price target of 29p back in early July, you would imagine, every thing else being equal (apart from the new imtercepts), that they'd now be over 30p.

Newcrest Mining release their "Annual Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves Statement" every year in February, covering the previous year up to December. Unless they release something earlier, it would most likely be a statement in February 2022, covering the year ended 31st December 2021.

Due to assay lab delays, there will be "A much greater wealth of information coming in the next update" (in 6 weeks time).
