We just breached the $1812 resistance level again, and rose to an intraday high, so far, of $1815.80...

Just hit the $1812 resistance level ($1812.11) and has backed off a little.

It'll be interesting to see where it goes now, over the next few days!

The current market cap, I believe, right now, is 3,964,547,171 X 16.62p = GBP 658.87M

In reality, it all depends on what figure(s) YOU want for your investment viewpoint, and the technical figures.

It's actually very simple!

"Market capitalisation" or "market cap" is basically the stock price multiplied by the number of shares currently outstanding, but it does not take into account the impact of stock options and the like, which when exercised adds to the number of shares outstanding.

So, basically, you determine what figure(s) you want, in terms of your own investment strategy, taking into account the current way that the markets determine their figures.

Simples!

As I've said many times before, IMHO, under 25p is a no brainer anyway, but, under 17p is ludicrous in the extreme and even I've been topping up, although basically top heavy in GGP!

Funnily enough, I seem to remember someone on here posting, some time back, that they'd like to buy a racehorse with their GGP gains! I can't think of a better named horse!

To be fair it was a pretty broad advance for gold mining stocks Lenz, with Northern Star Resources (+6.3pc), Evolution Mining (+4.8pc), St Barbara (+3.6pc) as well as NCM.

Australian gold stocks jumped 3.4%, underpinned by strong bullion prices as the U.S. Federal Reserve and the Bank of England’s indication that they were in no rush to raise interest rates raised the safe-haven metal’s appeal.

Newcrest Mining jumped more than 3%, its best one-day gain since June 11, while Northern Star Resources added as much as 4.2%.

Well personally I rate, and agree with, the recent viewpoint of Sandeep Biswas, when he stated that, “If you’re into cryptos, you want to consider having some gold.." Bullion, “may act as a bit of a hedge against the volatility of cryptos,”

“Gold is a different class of investment...It’s a tangible asset: you can see it, you can touch it, you can feel it, you can mold it, you can make it into jewelry, whatever you want.”

He was surely being very conservative in his views, as would be dictated by his CEO position, but, personally, I'd have gone much further and likened crypto investment offers, IMHO, as Ponzi schemes!

Firstly, well thank you! Funnily enough I've switched from Oz & NZ Cabernet Sauvignon to their excellent Shiraz's over the past few years. I do agree though that I've lost most interest in French wines, which I find generally overpriced for what they profess to be!
