OK, as others have already mentioned, this is a what journo states, and so you can't necessarily read a huge amount into it, unless & until it's clarified. However, I'd actually be surprised if it was even possible to legally sell an operation like this, when there are environmental concerns still pending. I also can't see any company even getting close to making an offer, until they're absolutely sure of the extent of the issue(s).

Long story, short, I don't believe there's much for us to lose under the circumstances, if we/we and others, are seriously looking at purchasing Telfer and the remaining 70% of Havieron, only to gain, in getting a much better insight into the issue and costs involved.

But, then again, it could (and I admit it's not much more than a casino play) go the same way as GGP did, after being dropped by Newmont at EG, then made the big hit at Havieron. I got in there at around 0.67p then. As always, you pays your money and takes your choice. Personally I've invested heavily in WSBN now at just over 1.1p, and I'm happy to just sit & wait. OK, nothing may come of it, but that's just part of a risky investment, a part of my portfolio.

Spotted that this this morning too. Shares up 33%, but unfortunately still some way off what they were valued at when we took them as the initial consideration for their purchase of Firetower & Warrentinna. Hopefully they'll progress positively at Golder Ridge, as well as their other tenements, including of course Firetower & Warrentinna, where we still have the deferred considerations too.

IMHO, the latter is more likely, based on what I posted early on Tuesday, that, "I don't know about the specific level of shorter's currently, but, in the past few days I have sensed a very subtle change in tone, from completely negative, to slightly more positive, from some of the usual suspect de-rampers on this forum and others...Like all of their ongoing manipulation on here and other sites, it's usually very subtle and well planned."
