I agree he looked annoyed on the webinar that he and the rest of the board were under insider trading restrictions due to Agnico and watched a 3000% rise pass them by. Ouch.

I also think it explains his generally neutral tone through the q&a. He doesn’t want to Ramp the share as he is hoping to buy in before the first results I am sure.

My takeaways are the first drills are going looking to replicate previous results. They are very important for getting the JV fully engaged in later exploration. OMI board are in direct control of the rigs and as such I would be amazed if they weren’t just drilling next to identified good grade areas. Results due in January most likely.

It was also interesting to reflect on Brads comments referring to similarities with GGP. It feels like 2021 will be transformational here and exploration may well start to increase substantially with more rigs once the first results start dropping.

I am expecting some positive momentum here over the next few weeks and can’t see the SP dropping below the placing price. Great time to buy....

Price to work it out is 27p close on 30/11 so the rise since then won’t factor in the calculation.

They will declare on 11th and there are external factors which will influence the GGP share as well as our improved MC.

There is a clear reason why Scally was excluded from the JV and less well understood prospects included. Mercedes man post 19:13 is the closest credible theory so far. If Scally hits then 2021 looks set to be another transformational year.

For any of those investors thinking huge share price rises on a good Scally RNS please bear in mind as of today we are officially a £1BILLION company. What you can expect is regular positive resource updates and a continuation of these plateau then rerate cycles. I used to think £1Bn would be the end game but if Goldprice continues its upward trend starting today (up 2% when I last checked) and news flows remain positive this should be a great journey got all of us.

Presume it’s budget by area. As in a very good exploration budget for the selected area.

Two things to note.

1. What are they going to do with the funds. An RNS in due course confirming a new licence to prospect would be positive.

2. Why raise this week, why not 2 days after the first mining results which could have propelled us to 50p halving the dilution.

Hopefully time will tell and reinstate some confidence in the board.

Very disappointed at the timing of the placing. If t board are confident in the Anza site then surely you would wait 8 weeks, get good results, see the SP jump to 50p and then place. You either get twice as much cash or half the dilution then.

Feels like the board panicked with the recent SP decline and grabbed the cash now.

Nap - it would be useful if GGP could qualify what’s in and what’s out of the JV. If I’m right then it will soon become clear Gervaise has leveraged our position well and galvanised 2021 for shareholders.

If you consider the original Hav JV and ignore spending limits it all ends at the same place. A GGP stake of 25% in a series of major gold mines.

Spot on Tom. There is nothing being given away here . As shareholders we now have certainty that all of the interests in Telfers orbit are being properly looked at over the next 12 months - all at no cost to shareholders or the company.

The 25% given to Newcrest is in return for GGP running the next 12 month exploration and spending up to $20M .

If GGP find nothing it’s a free pass. If they find a load of gold they will get 25% under the JV.

That is smart business, especially if you know the retained licences at Scally have come up trumps.

It seems that the 25% covers areas as yet mostly unexplored. GGP holds onto Scally and others currently being evaluated with results due shortly, all with rights of first refusal to Newcrest. Havieron future is now fixed and the facility of £50M covers all associated expenditure without independent bank funding or share issue/dilution.

All sounds like good business to me but does suggest Gervaise has one eye on eventually selling the company or it’s stake in the JV. All of our eggs appear to be in the Newcrest basket.

Be interesting to see how the market reacts and what GGP has to say about the deal.

Spent the day enjoying OMI and GGP and was more than a little surprised to see PAT overtake both! Good day for the miners and it shows how little interest is required in Panthera to shift the SP.

ST - I would second that thought to check out PAT for anyone looking to take a calculated gamble. There board has skilfully partnered with local experts to reduce their costs and are sat on at least 8 potential goldmines including Burkhia in India which is expect to be a Tier 1 operation.

Anyone looking for a get rich quick explorer stock needs to look further down the food chain. Find a company claiming to be in the verge of a 5m oz gold discovery worth less than £50m. My current favourites are PAT and OMI. Please DYOR and don’t use it unless you can afford to lose it.

I’ll take a 100x share price rise if it’s offered. I like the way the new CEO is playing his cards close to his chest. I saw a recent interview and what prompted me to invest was his experience in sorting politics and legal matters in places like India and Africa.

I am pleased he is not posting all over Twitter. One big RNS would do.

Does anyone have a view on next steps if the court ruling is in PAT’s favour. Clearly a £9M market cap explorer having a 6m oz confirmed licence should liven up the SP in the short term but I would be interested in how we move towards getting the thing mined?

Most certainly down. This drop has been forecast with $1835 cited due to the delay in further US quantitative easing measures. Nearly all analysts were pointing to medium term growth north of $2000 dollars an ounce. Am hoping the upturn comes in the next few weeks but may be next year now...

NED, further news flow would be welcome for sure.

James, Ethio, appreciate your thoughts on comparable sales. Let’s hope EUA blows the doors off with an RNS drops.

Ethio, you may well be right and I very much hope so.

If you could highlight some of these examples of £800M companies tripling in value on release of a FSP I would be pleased to hear about them.

Please accept the subtext here. I would pass out with joy if my holding quadrupled this week with the much awaited RNS dropping. I just don’t think it will. Hope I wrong.

James. I do appreciate your point and I accept the sale price will be a % of the companies resources value (aandi suggests $38Bn proven). It a fair way to assess a sale price and draw comparison to other FSP.

My point relates to events so far as an indication of future sale price. The market says value today is £800M. If the market thought a sale is likely, and as many on here are stating, the share price will be £1 plus then I would expect a higher current SP.
