Allstar - Call me old fashioned but the Board need to be aligned to shareholders. When they diluted 2 weeks ago that decision cost the Board nothing. It cost shareholders 30% of the value of their holding. If he does it again it hits him in his pocket.

Whether he pays for the shares or not is irrelevant from my perspective.

Whether the market notices the RNS or not is another matter. Good luck all.

All star - you ever had a bonus target at work? If someone said be succesful, secure shareholder upside from $0.32 and the Board will receive any upside multiplied by 5.6M that would make me pretty motivated to succeed.

His buy in yesterday is an investment which can go up and down and whilst it would have been great to see £100k go down as a mark of confidence the Board now have a 3% stake in the company.

All Boards have success related pay deals.

That’s more like it. Much better stake in the game with the options. Let’s hope investors see this as a sign to get in. Well done OMI.

In his defence Imp2 it was 4am when he addressed the UK audience. It looked more like an outhouse than a basement - I am imagining him getting an ear bashing from the missus about doing it in the house and waking up the kids!

This is definitely a hold if your in or a buy if your not. Fundamentals haven’t changed since 46p so when interest in the stock returns this will rise.

One other event that could unexpectedly drive the price is EUA sale. The will be a lot of risk taking confident PI’s looking to buy into good undervalued gold/PM stocks and given their sale price could be £2Bn it would only take 5% of that money to generate £100m of buying pressure!

It’s worth reflecting that the MRE is a watershed moment for GGP and for many long term investors who have benefitted from the rise this is an obvious point to lock in profit.

I also think this marks the point where new investors will feel it is right to buy in, especially institutional investors and funds.

A drop today in that context is very understandable and I would be very surprised if we haven’t set a new SP high over the next week or so.

Fantastic opportunity here for predictable news flows driving value in the company.

Perhaps I am being to harsh on him. My issue is more with the company failing to issue a share option package which to be fair may be coming at some point.

My normal investing criteria would include a CEO with more like a 3%+ skin in the game.

I’ll accept his good intentions and wish him and board lots of luck with the drilling campaign. That is what will really move the dial.

No Mrdigit, if the CEO is looking to send a message that this is his first chance to buy into his new company and we are sat on a tier 1 gold mine then the market optics are not great.

If we saw a £100k buy or 500,000 shares then ok, but £10k worth. Not great in my view.

I cast no dispersions on Brad, it is coming up to Christmas and we could all do with a few extra pounds to pay the bills but this in my view raises more questions than answers about his confidence in the company....

He bought 10k GBP worth. Well I am a shareholder and my first inclination is to dump my stock if that’s the level of confidence shown by the Board.

I hope the market just reads the headline and doesn’t spot the buy level.

Should it be read as 3.4m oz gold plus AU eq Copper of 0.8m oz equals 4.2m oz total?

The sky is the limit in my view.

The AGM confirmed a shift in positioning for GGP now seeking to become a significant minority stakeholder in gold mines. If HAV grows to 15moz in 2021 which seems very plausible then the broker ratings will be up around the 3Bn valuation on this alone. Factor in the potential to repeat Hav multiple times in the Paterson and a expectation of a huge Gold bull run and the numbers start to look ridiculous.

For what it’s worth I can still see GGP being subject to a take over somewhere along the journey but that only happens if we are successful. It’s a no lose situation in that regard.

Wilfie, I think there is a better than evens chance you will be back in profit before the end of Q1 2021.

The last run up was on the back of a very bullish couple of days for the Gold Market and your day traders picked the Agnico RNS as the catalyst to pump the stock.

The fundamentals look solid though for OMI. There just is little interest in the company from a trader perspective and the dilution killed the last momentum shift stone dead.

One RNS with the gold price moving north or $2000 over the next 4-6 weeks and a re-rate feels inevitable to me.

ST - sounds like you and I follow the same stocks and I remember the day OMI broke out. I have made money holding PAT and was very very luck to get in on GGP 12 months ago.

What GGP has taught me is that you need to pick and stick to your stocks and allow them to travel the journey. The news flow is what underpinned GGP performance and I can see the opportunity in PAT. Rises like today I find bothersome as if no RNS materialises then the price won’t hold up. Eventually an RNS will drop that rerates this stock and I agree that when that day comes your in and making money or your out wishing you were in.

The minute a CEO talks about adding zero’s to the SP it does make me cringe a little. I prefer my top bosses to be quietly confident.

I will feel more comfortable the minute Brad and the board get some skin in the game.

They should already have been given share awards or options by now. Time is ticking and they won’t be able to hold back drill results once they land. The SP feels ready to go like it did two weeks ago before the Board poured cold water all over it!

The GDXJ investment was based on a SP of 14p and they bought at 27p. November’s SP was 27p and based on today SP of 33p so you would expect the underlying proportion needed by the fund to have grown. Until they publish the fund buy in percentage with external factors outside of GGP accounted for then its impossible to say.

My monies on another buy but more modest and with only a moderate effect on the SP.

Zak’s chart review certainly didn’t harm PAT in the last hour!

It demonstrates what a little buying pressure can do to the SP. In the interest of balance, what goes up can also come down and if there is no RNS tomorrow at 7am we may all witness what a little selling pressure can do.

Long term this share feels like spreadbetting and I have plenty of confidence we are heading for good things.

I’m with you BTB. I would not be at all surprised to see a MRE issued alongside the exploration results tomorrow night.

I was studying the chart yesterday trying to compare the Sept GDXJ period and our rise from 12p to 27p in an attempt to try and establish whether Friday was the end of the current rerate.

My conclusion is that the news flow and the potential of the Gold Price is that we may well see a doubling of the November baseline 22p to 44p on the 18th GDXJ buy in day.

Unknowns could be the magnitude of Scally news and an unexpected inclusion in the GDX which would bring c$100M buy plus a load is associate funds that follow the GDX.

Patience as ever remains the key here. If the underlying Gold Price continue north of $2000 then 2021 will be another very good year for shareholders.

He couldn’t come out and say it but my impression when he said hopefully Director shares can be resolved soon is that the placing we just had will include warrants or share awards to the board. And quite right to!

It also may explain why the board didn’t think to hard about a 17p price.
