Here’s hoping for a good week ahead. I seem to recall that every time we get a proper weekend deramper the SP shoots up. Let’s hope BUTD is a sign that gold price and GGP are about to go on a run.

Making the statement every set of results keeps finding gold doesn’t seem like a leap of faith to me. They are INFILL drilling around 1km a day at the moment. The results when published usually identify the best 5 holes. They will report gold. The bit to keep looking for is whether the exploratory drilling keeps pushing the extent of mineralisation and whether we remain open on pretty much every direction or not.

After the poor market response to the last brilliant set of results I am not holding my breath for a move north of 25p next week. Extension to the MRE, gold sentiment changing in or any number of potential new gold finds will all act as a catalyst in the medium to long term but I can’t help feeling 14/14 is already priced in. We shall see - hope I am wrong. We should be 30% north of here based on known factors in my view at the very least. GLA

2.75 buy price just achieved. I was surprised it took the trade 1st time for the full amount. This drop must have freed up some volume. Now if the board could just release a Friday bonanza RNS please.

Such strange MM behaviour. Why did the MSCI fund overpay for 2M shares at 24p? Any of us PI’s could of purchased at 21.5 - 22p on Friday. Do these funds not care that they are getting conned out of 10% of there holding!

Tymers, drill plans for SWAG (which is the only planned drill campaign at Greatlands cost planned this year) I am assuming will be published when the RNS lands this week or next on the final batch of last years results. I expect that RNS will include the words fully funded for 2021 as £7m should be plenty for a simple exploratory campaign.

I think we can all stop worrying about an equity raise now if anyone has these concerns. £800M market cap business with cash flow and profit on the horizon will allow bank borrowing if it’s needed. I also think another JV would be available to us with Newcrest but the terms of that JV would be much better if we had found something meaningful.

The days of worrying about GGP having access to money are behind us now in my view.

Forester - that is a confidence inspiring interview with Michael Gentile and he is clearly a heavyweight small cap junior investor. If you needed any reassurance that serious people with serious money are backing companies like Greatland then this worth a watch.

He also speaks a lot of sense on the macro position. I would take a look at the Gold Price graph 2009 to 2012. This was the last period of economic crisis money printing and gold price went $750 to$1750+. Apply that same move today and Gold goes $1800 to $4200 during 2020 to 2023. That period is by coincidence the pre production phase for Havieron. Sleep well on that thought!

Your right of course DGR. Like many here I’m sat on a significant paper loss since the start of the year and would like to have the option to sell some of my holding at what I would consider fair value. 21.25p is not fair value so I am going nowhere for now.

Thanks to all those offering a view on the HnP note. Consensus seems to suggest it’s a load of rubbish.

I hope that the Swag 2020 results arrive Monday so we can get that monkey of our back and then a slow and steady re-rate back up to 28p ahead of the interims. If somebody could ask the FED to fix bond yield rates and stop them rising that would be good before the gold price drops below the 1750 resistance please.

I read it as 600k AU for 30 years which is 18m oz. I hope I have read this wrong.

I get the point on gold price and the long term but the upside assumptions would be much higher if HnP started at $1500.

If someone more intelligent could review the HnP note and establish what they are actually valuing it would be much appreciated.

I wish these brokers would adopt a standard method for valuing a stock. This note reads to me that they assume a tier 1 mine. They guess at its longevity and then estimate an annual yield. Build in some guesstimates on cost and gold price and hey presto a number just over 30p.

The note then cryptically talks about uplift in valuation when more resources are found. Why can’t they just value the MRE so we and the rest of the investor world can work on a long term SP growth as the resource grows.

Beyond an initial 5-10% market response this note is not going to encourage the SP to 40p anytime soon. Bit deflated by that.

Also see a red flag in the gold price at $1900. All the majors benchmark on a sub $1500 figure. Hmmm.

To try and be helpful, you have a cost of getting out the ground and a cost of selling it. Havieron is located 45km from Telfer, a billion dollar plus mine processing facility that is running out of ore. Costs are therefore going to be low - let’s say $500 an oz. gold is at $1800 an oz so that £1300 dollars an oz profit.

Grades are relevant but Newcrest are also recognised as one of the worlds best block cave miner. 1 g/t is currently 3-4 times higher than the current Telfer grade being processed.

You say you missed out when GGP were £50M market cap. I would respectfully suggest you might review your decision now whilst the SP is momentarily in the low 20’s. you have 10 working days left to the interim results which will be the 14th exceptional set of results in a row at Haverion and will include words such as still open at depth and not yet defined the full extent attached to the RNS.

It’s hard to understand the market at the moment. I can’t help feeling sentiment for GGP has shifted after an amazing 2020. It feels like investors are ignoring the fundamentals. You have to keep reminding yourself the whole sector is down I suppose but it’s bonkers!

I’m back in on PAT today. Hope my timing is good for one of he many potential updates here. Great opportunity.

ST - I know you keep a close eye on things. Any thoughts on new flow and when COBR may start to move again. It’s been a little sleepy here since the couple of moves in the last few weeks to 3.5p

Your saying I shouldn’t point out the obvious. Shares go up as well as down.

Long term I think you’ll do well here. Just don’t expect the price to go from 30p to £1 in a straight line.

Evidence. Are you disputing that GGP, EUA and PAT have all not taken a 30%-50% hit?

Me to JohnZ. Worse still sold OMI at 29p on Thursday. There is a 30% gain I am never going to see. On the other hand the aim of the game is to make money and I was 30% up on OMI when I sold. If you hold GGP then patience is all you need. The OMI board is always comparing the two stocks and I see as much upside in GGP over the next few weeks as I do in OMI.

Note to anyone who wants to point out my stupidity and thinks OMI is so much better investment than GGP. Check out the PAT graph. A 50% drop can and probably will happen here at OMI. The question is whether the news RNS expected next week will act as a catalyst for a proper restate to 50p or whether sell on news happens.
