All we need now is to hit the top of the ore body, publish the next ( real ) MRE 2 / 3 , and the PFS, and start the revenue flow. All well on track.

Very interesting that they have widened the gappage from 10% to 20% . And that certainly is not done to allow NCM to settle a much higher FMV on GGP . The negotiations are obviously tough, and GGP are sticking by a proper FMV, and Biswas is not happy.

So sad the MM's do not share the enthusiasm , and so sad that Biswas and NCM choose not to to reflect an equal enthusiasm.

The Stage 1 Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) on the South-East Crescent of the Havieron deposit was released on 12 October 2021. The study outcome was positive, showing that a fraction of the initial resource supported the total capital of the project, justifying a fast start approach to early cashflow generation and reinvesting back into Havieron development and infrastructure. This supports the Company's belief that the profile of Havieron makes it a globally unique opportunity for bringing a low risk, low capital tier-one gold-copper mine into production.

All good / excellent stuff - re-affirming grist to the mill and plump breastmeat on the turkey. Roll on 2022.

From the names of some of the attendees at Stroud ( and sorry not to be there ) it sounds almost like we are a joint venture. One of the advantages of having seen faces is a much more courteous approach to debate.
I hope some of the Stroud Gang will make it to The Stag on the 27th April, or maybe meet up for the SD ( London ??? ) presentation.
After a somewhat turgid year , my instinct tells me that much of what we have been hoping for will emerge with the Spring blossom . Things are about to happen.

My apologies for the delay in replying to your email.

The statement included in Newcrest's half year results reflects Resources and Reserves across the portfolio as at 31 December 2021. The Havieron estimate included in that statement is the same as the estimate published on 12 October 2021 as part of the release titled "Havieron PFS Stage 1 delivers solid returns and base for future growth".

A large part of the drilling in Havieron since the cut-off date for the resource estimate published in October 2021 focused on infill to support the Feasibility Study (FS). The cut off for this drilling data was scheduled to maximise the Indicated Resource inventory to be included in the FS. This is to mitigate the potential of the FS not reflecting as much of the resource as possible. Resource estimation requires thorough modelling, assessment and verification before reporting, therefore an updated Havieron resource estimate was not scheduled for inclusion in the 31 December 2021 Resources and Reserves Statement.

Newcrest intends to issue an updated Group Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves statement as at 30 June 2022 with its Full Year Financial Results, which will include a revised Mineral Resource estimate for Havieron. Newcrest reserves the right to issue updates to the market outside these dates.

We don't automatically send out notification of shareholder meetings or voting forms to clients who hold shares in an HL Account.

However, this doesn't stop you from partaking or voting in any future AGMs on any of the shares that you hold. If you'd like to attend any AGM or vote on any of the company’s shares that you hold, you simply need to inform us two weeks prior to the AGM and we'll send out a letter of attendance or arrange for you to be on the list of attendees. You can also lodge your votes with us.

Furthermore, you're able to find out the dates for an AGM on our website by first selecting the share that you hold on our website. You then just need to click on the 'Company Information' tab and any upcoming AGM should be listed under ‘Important dates’. If there's nothing listed under future events then you can use the previous AGM listed under past events as an indication of when the next AGM will be, as most companies will hold their AGM's at the same time each year.

Both my wife and I have both ISA Accounts and Savings Accounts , and additionally I have a SIPP with HL. There is a reasonable possibility that a company that we are both invested in will sometime soon put a board decision to a shareholder vote
Could you please confirm to me that in the event of a Footsie Company or an AIM company Board putting a decision out to a shareholder vote , that I am able to instruct HL as to how I wish to vote , and they will inform the company of my wishes.
If so , would you please confirm to me the correct proceedures and time limitations for doing so.

I should also have added that in the event of any offer , we, the Board , should be well prepared to act as far as possible in a strong and unified way. There will always be those of course who will wish to disagree.

Paddy , my views on take over for GGP as a whole, run more or less in parallel to your own.
I am personally assuming that were we , the shareholders, to get a pitiful offer made for GGP, ( the company ) then GGP would be obliged to have a shareholder vote. In those circumstances , I would be obliged to instruct HL to exercise that vote on my behalf . I would of course additionally be informing GGP of my views.
If an offer is made for the buy out of just Havieron, then my understanding is that this would not be the subject of a shareholder vote. I would of course be also advising GGP of my views on the offer, but we would presumably be helpless to stop it if GGP accepted the offer.
Or am I talking bananas.

Greatland's relationship with Newcrest is multifaceted and is constructive and collaborative across different levels. Greatland was initially surprised by the change in direction of Newcrest's decision not to update the Havieron Reserve & Resources, particularly in the context of what had been a meaningful and successful drilling campaign. Nonetheless, there remains a broader relationship which Greatland values and we recognise the benefits that a tier 1 partner, such as Newcrest delivers to the joint venture.
Sent to me on 22/02 2022. Worth reading again after all of the recent NCM shenannigans. The content speaks and reflects highly of the man ( SD ) , and I feel confident and content that things are in his capable hands.

The team at Greatland share the view that defining an updated the resource and reserve for Havieron is a priority and a foundation for an equitable discussion on value. This is a focus for the Greatland team. Any outcome in respect of the value is governed by the option valuation processes as outlined in the joint venture agreement, which was executed back in late 2020.



The definitive Feasibility Study is a separate process and Newcrest as the Joint Venture Manager are responsible for preparing this Study. That said, should the 5% option be resolved beforehand, it would be reasonably to consider that there is a solid basis for genuine structural alignment.



Once again we are thankful to have a shareholder group such as yourselves and with Western Australia poised to relax its boarder restrictions, I will likely get across to the UK in March 2022.

I got quite a lot of stick for e-mailing NCM about their reluctance to keep their and GGP shareholders properly updated ( as well as probably a great deal more supporting e-mailers ), But I can only comment that I expect as an owner / shareholder to be kept properly updated , and I strongly suspect that SD and GGP strongly agree. This is not top secret data. It is the total " raison d'etre " of GGP.
Am curious to see the outcome of these events.
