@@@ Timber Trader - for all the cr*p and b*llsh*t that clogs up this board , it only needs GGP to place an ad. for such an important company position, that radiantly and unrestrictedly exudes a massive, huge , champagne cork popping confidence for the journey this company is taking.
Why the SP does not reflect this , I am not qualified to accurately diagnose , BUT , I have sufficient nous between my ears to confidently assess what the future holds. Not one single iota of doubt.
I know not from whence or which source all of my good friend Hydros share purchase lists are being acquired and who is doing the acquisitions, but I would like to publicly state , as my good friend Paddy has , that it is certainly not from me.
There is a well of 3.15 Billion shares in PI holding, and I hope that every one of you fellow PIs continues to maintain the holding . Hold for gold - as they say.
Hope that you will appear Timber at one of our next Stag Conventions. I would like to meet.

.....that , just using approximated figures , that the share holding ratios WERE 10% Institutional,
5% management , and 75% private investors .
And NOW that GGP ./ NCM are spewing up so much potential AU . CU resource , NCM racing at Usain Bolt speed to start recovering that resource in order to save the Telfer Mine - due to run out of ore feed within two years, GGP / NCM JV's indicating even more infill / step out / deeeper down resource , GGP now seriously reckoning that some of their 100% prospects may even be Hav 2's and Hav 3's , and want to get cracking to prove some of it up, ..............the Institutions are growing hungry for a bigger slice of the cake.
To grab that slice, they , in conjunction with the MMs , are twisting and turning our GGP SP in every direction ( mostly down ) in order to get us poor, frightened , terrified PI's to sell up some / all of our 3.15 Billion shares and run away . God bless em !!
My good friend Hydrogen is producing some evidence that that is happening. Not with me it aint Should be some encouraging official news in the next 2 or 3 weeks.

Unfortunately, neither Shaun or Callum will physically be in attendance at this year's AGM. Due to Western Australia government travel restrictions related to Covid-19 it will be likely that Shaun Day will be visiting London from February 2022 onwards. Instead Shaun will be joining the AGM virtually via Investor Meet Company platform.



In terms of your two questions, we are unable to make specific comments about the SP. With respect to you second question, the 5% fair market value option, the process of negotiation between Greatland and Newcrest can commence from Dec 12th .

Thank you for your email and the support as a shareholder.



I appreciate some frustration exists on the timeframe for investor participation in this placing. This timeframe of announcing the placement after market close and concluding the placement before market re-open is consistent with placements of this type on the AIM.



We were mindful of facilitating retail participation and hence we extended the raising, on a non-exclusive basis, to specifically engage Primary Bid and SI Capital plus some other retail brokers approached us with bids. Accordingly, we did seek to accommodate broader participation.



Given there is no trading halts on the AIM market, there is a difficult balance around when to offer shares and whether this should be executed between trading days.



We have also release a Proactive video interview with Shaun Day today providing additional colour on the transaction, specifically talking to the timing of the transaction.



Thank you for taking the time to write and we would welcome feedback on where you have seen AIM equity raises managed differently, which have provided a better opportunity for participation.

It may be a very interesting question to ask Shaun at the AGM ;
Q.1 . ) What was total no of shares applied for by
a ) The private investors
b ) The Institutional Investors.......and
c ) What was the % age allocations for both.
No one will ever actually know, but had the private investors been aware , and had the time to allocate funds, my guess would be that total applications for shares would have been huge.
I wanted to apply for 40 / 50 K , but was defeated by my unfamiliarity with PB, and the miniscule timeframe made available.
Perhaps some of the successful applicants could provide the ratio of distribution / application figures they received.

I can see that GGP wanted a bit of extra cash.
I can see that SD and other directors could legally acquire some shares ( good move SD )
I can see that the mive drags in some instos.
But for a company backed essentially by loyal PIs - to flash an offer and close it within a few minutes is a travesty.
I am at a loss to understand the need for such speed.
I am at a loss to understand why they needed to use Primary Bid ..... iI am making an assumption that most posters were like me and unfamiliar with this company.
Just have to live and learn.
But I still have rock solid commitment to the future of GGP. I just wish.................

Whilst I am still very annoyed, I have sent a note to GGP

To GGP,
I returned home this evening at 7-00pm to read an e-mail RNS notification sent at 04-50pm today. The offer in my case required me to sign up with Primary Bid who seemed unable to trace my ( accurately provided ) address, and who did not have Hargreave Lansdown on their lists ( or so they told me ). Having finally signed up , they then deferred and requested personal ID photos and a copy passport, so I gave up.
Ridiculously , the offer closed at 9-00pm , and I have no chance of applying. I would also have needed some time to transfer funds.
For a company that projects a high level of support for PI's, this offering is a complete travesty, closing within minutes of opening , and only available for those fortunate enough to be already signed up with PB , and already sitting at their e-mail.
Neither applied in my case, and I am highly irritated and annoyed. I would rather have had a more sensible issue based on my shareholding , with proper notice, and with a sensible period of time to make arrangements.
I believe that you will find a huge number of PI's support my view. It is the process rather than the funding which should be reconsidered.

The RNS was timed to my e-mail at 4-50pm . I read it at 6-45pm. I made an effort to sign up with Primary Bid , accurately completed their application in full having taken some time to find it , only to be told that they did not recognise my address and did not recognise Hargreave Lansdown.
When I corrected that , they requested me to contact HL ( at gone 6-45pm ) and tell them to sign up with Primary Bid.
Then I had an e-mail to request a copy bank statement and a personal photo to authenticate my application.
Then I gave up. I felt I had been done over and deprived of the opportunity to buy into the discounted offer after nearly 10 years as a GGP shareholder. To offer PIs a discounted offer , with only minutes for some to complete it ( and almost zero for those returning home late from work ) is actually an insult.
I will be writing to GGP to express my views.
I would only have be buying 30/40,000 shares , so the loss is not huge, but I guess I am not alone in my irritation.
As to the purpose behind the fund raise, if it means more rigs on 100% ground , accelerated decline work ( possibly a second decline ?? ) on Hav. and - and ??? - then so much the better. The reasoning must have been a positive one.
I guess that some of you PIs will have similar views.
