Thank you very much for your email. I was so saddened to hear of your loss and would like to extend my sincere condolences. I was heartened though to hear your account of the quality of care your wife received. I hope that can be of some small solace.

On Company Law, while I am not an expert, I understand that, beyond the pandemic, it has always been the case that a company's own constitution may dictate how shareholders interact with the business. For example, certain requirements for holding AGMs may be laid out, such as a requirement for physical meetings or that AMGs can be held virtually. It is at the discretion of the individual company to stipulate these regulations. Similarly, businesses may choose to operate digitally or not - this is ultimately up to each company.

As we look back at the pandemic, there are lessons that can be learnt on how businesses operate and it knows that there are certain pandemic practices that should be kept, for example flexible working. While I am unaware of any plans to change the Companies Act, the Department for Business and Trade keeps all aspects of company law under review. Nonetheless, I wish you the best of luck in getting the signatures for the petition.

The last MRE was about 2 years ago.
More recently SD has clearly stated at town hall meets and on Twitter that Hav. MRE is but a fraction of a fraction. In order to state this he must obviously know of the increased dimensions and estimated capacity of the enlarged Hav.
The petition is an attempt to "" Give all shareholders a voice by bringing Company Law into the 21st Century "".
In other words we the shareholders / owners / financiers of GGP should be kept informed of this type of information. After all GGP is an EXPLORER , and that is what we risked our investment on. I want to be told the ongoing / progressive results of the company exploration. This is not " sensitive " info , - it is routine data.
RNS's today from NCM and GGP , a set of drill results expounding the groeth of Hav , but not a single reference to an MRE. GGP needs to get into the 21st century and look after its shareholders. No more pathetic excuses.

@@@ Sureasblazes Why the tongue in cheek ??? As a simple investing soul , and a devotee of Bamps analysis 's , despite not totally comprehending most of the technical detail longer than 30 seconds , I just like to think of the Rudall birth as the next Hav 2 .
W. Australia is probably the most mining rich area on the Globe , for a whole range of PM's and other sought after minerals , and GGP are firmly esconced on some pretty future potential rich territory. Hav. 3 will certainly follow in due course.

@@@ Jiffy bag. With you 101% all the way Jiffy . You , Me , We , Us are not only share holder / owners of the busines , but just as significantly , particularly with exploration companies where you are quite likely to lose your investment , financers of the business. As it happens in GGP's case , " retails " are a very large proportion of the shareholding . With GGP , fortunately , we have struck lucky.
I have signed the petition and urge all shareholders to do also. The current legislation is outdated. It is a change that I have long supported , and taken some stick for my views.

MHO1 you absolutely reflect my own views . It is time in the next few months that WE , THE OWNERS of GGP were given some basic info / data as to what is going on , albeit we have a pretty good idea as to what will be. The Newmont / Newcrest situation is interesting , and my own speculative view is that Newcrest will be gobbled up . It then arises as to what happens with GGP , but all probable outcomes should be favourable for us .

The way the SP has started to edge north is a probable indication that things are not too far off happening. And so they should.

Of course you , with your background and knowledge are always more Right than the poor , debilitated and aged marble collection that I have .
But the generalised point I am making is that GGP have an obligation to keep its shareholders ( which unusually make up a huge proportion of the company ownership , and company initial finance ) more fully informed as to progress , and non - sensitive data. The revised MRE is not " sensitive " , - it is mining progress fact.

The revised MRE will already be well known , as Newmont and Newcrest will be wll aware from the Data Room provided for the negotiations .
Since absolutely everyone is aware that the updated Havieron MRE is now actually 3 or 4 times larger than the original 6.2 M ozs ( around 2 years ago ) , it is my opinion that this could well be RNS; ed , and would not in any way be " sensitive " information that would make the slightest difference to any Newmont / Newcrest / GGP discussions.
We , the shareholders , the " retail s " , the owners and initially high risk Financers of GGP do have an obligatory right to have such information disclosed to us .

Now why cannot we be getting official RNS like this ( unless it contains material that is not known to SD.
Perhaps we could get Bamps appointed the GGP 6 weekly RNS Songwriter.
Bamps , it is the most informing and comprehensible release you have made , and you are much to be commended.
Would all GGP BOD members take note. I am looking forward to lots more April releases on MRE';s , etc.,etc.

S as B I am sure where we will end up , and am staying, My main point is that everyone on Gods earth knows what we believe we know , but nothing OFFICIAL has been issued. It would make little difference to anything if it was issued , but it would then be factual. SH's have an absolute right to know , and as such it would not make a hapeth of difference to any negotiations.
SD is brilliant , and a charming man , and an ambitious CEO with his meetings with we retails , but despite inferring the odd thing , he actually reveals very little. We are 18 months in arrears with official data. I say that is wrong .
Nothing is proven until measured and formalised and released by the appropriate authorities.
Delighted to hear I have bee green boxed ( for the very first time ) by some illiterate clown who regards different views from his own as degenerate.
But I have been around this BB for about 10 years.
