There isn't a formal announced date for the finals; just "September" on the website.
September 2nd is when last year's results came out. It's a reasonable expectation (but no more than that) that the results will be out within a few days of that date this year.
If you look at the interims and the detailed reports for Q3 and Q4 you should be able to get a pretty good idea of what the final results should look like.

Remember that hybrid ICE/battery vehicles actually require higher PGM loadings in their catalytic converters than simple ICE (internal combustion engine) vehicles. (It's so that they can deal with the emissions from all the engine starts and stops).
Out of interest, what do you consider the best hydrogen economy stocks out there (excluding PGM miners/recyclers)?

19 cents is roughly 14.8p per share.
The comparison to the 2018 results is interesting. The share price jumped on those results to 117p, compared to today's 79p or so.
And I'd argue that the future today is considerably brighter than it was then. Certainly 79p / 14.8p EPS = p/e of 5.33, which would be (IMO) unsustainably low for a company like Tharisa.
IMO, there should be a good 50% upside from here over the next 4 months or so.

Reading between the lines, this looks to me like the government and opposition are inching towards some sort of power-sharing compromise in Bamako. If so, that's the best possible outcome:

It's hard to make sense of the current share price considering the price of gold (and the amount of cash Hummingbird should be making). This really should be in the 40s, not the 30s.

Yes, I'm here for the long game as well, though I always reassess as and when new information becomes available.
SLP isn't really a good share for short-term trading; the spread is too wide. If anybody is into that, I recommend Centamin (CEY) - excellent company, no stamp duty, very narrow spread, very liquid, trades up and down with the gold price.

Not sour grapes at all. Just stating the obvious. JLP have clearly moved on from the whole failed Kabwe zinc tailings deal, and they have repurposed the Sable refinery to produce only copper.
And with that, GLR have no customer for the willemite at Star Zinc and Ka****u. It's not an easy mineral to process, and I believe there isn't any alternative refinery within reasonable range. It's a dead deal.
As for the Nomad, well, this is AIM. And, in truth, there's no clear cut reason why GLR would need to RNS this. Nothing, as such, has happened.
As for Tom Winnifrith, why does he keep tipping Colin Bird companies recently? It's enough to make you wonder...

My take on it is that Star Zinc and Kashi'tu are failed projects. That's why Colin Bird has gone haring off at a tangent into Botswana.
If you look at JLP, they have now loaded up the Sable refinery with copper projects, and they have no capacity left for a zinc circuit - the completion date of which they keep pushing back towards never. My guess is that something has gone horribly wrong with the Kabwe tailings deal, and that the whole business has gone sour. And with that failure goes GLR's Star Zinc project.

For my money, Covid-19 has already done its worst to SLP. SLP are located in the centre of the storm, Gauteng province in South Africa. There is no appetite in South Africa for a second lockdown, as the first caused so many problems (e.g. widespread hunger), and soon the virus will simply burn itself out in Gauteng.
As as for PGMs, well, palladium and rhodium (i.e. the bulk of SLP's revenues) look strong thanks to returning demand and constricted supply.
My guess is that there are a whole lot of investors out there who would willingly buy the shares of a company with numbers like SLP... if only they knew it existed! IMO, more than anything, this share needs a bit of publicity.

A few months ago house broker Liberum issued a note hinting that an absolutely monster dividend would be paid by SLP this year.
Then, a few days ago, in an updated note, they suggested the dividend will be exactly 5.8 US cents (i.e. about 4.5p).
I'd suggest that Liberum were briefed (told off?) by the company after the first note, and that the new corrected figure will be the actual dividend that will be declared in 3 weeks' time.
4.5p is hardly a bad dividend, considering the current share price(!). But it does raise the question of what Sylvania are going to do with the rest of their huge cash pile. They are not a bank, so, after putting aside a reasonable rainy day fund, (IMO) they should either use the money for expansion or pay it out to shareholders in dividends or buybacks.
I'd also like to see a clear dividend policy with a formula for payouts for the future. And maybe splitting future dividends into an interim and final payment as well.
Still, these are all nice problems for a company to have. Especially in times like these.

Year on year PGM production appears to be down 42% in June. The world has other sources for platinum and palladium (esp. Russia), but (other than recycling) almost all of the world's rhodium comes from SA. Given that rhodium can't be substituted, and that it was already in deficit before the virus hit, and that SA deep mine supply has clearly been impacted by the shutdown and the virus containment rules, surely this is going to lead to new record high prices for rhodium (in particular) as this production drop works through the supply chain?(As always, note that in terms of revenue, and at current prices, SLP earns most from rhodium, then from palladium, and platinum only comes in third place).

There's a mini-boom in automobile sales in China:
"China’s NBS says: In July, sales of upgraded consumer goods continued to grow, with that of automobiles went up by 12.3 percent [year-on-year]..."
That's a lot of catalytic converters, and a lot of PGMs, especially with the upgraded loadings required by China 6 regulations.

Thanks for posting. I do dream sometimes of finding "another SLP". But I haven't found it yet, either; only a few companies that half qualify.
I guess we'll just have to make the most that we can of this opportunity!
