Looks like none of you understand shorting. You borrow shares then sell them to force the price down and hope that this precipitates other sellers. You then buy back at a lower price and return the borrowed shares to the owners, who charge you "rent" for using them.
So, due diligence is complete, the BOD of the proposed offeror has had months to discuss the offer, one cannot imagine that an offer will not be made within a week or so, or "shortly". LOL.
I can post as much or as little on any BB I wish, as can you. I posted a light hearted comment and am now being abused by you. Unbelivable. Clearly anyone who doesn't post a euphoric ramp is not welcome here. WELL i've got news for you matey, I will post what I like but will not fall to your gutter level of undeserved abuse. Now do one.
Ginger, it is a promise which remains to be fulfilled to date. As a light hearted comment it has certainly generated a remarkable amount of criticism. I'm sorry that my literary knowledge is less than yours, I clearly chose the wrong metaphor, fo which I humbly apologise.
Folio, I did not cast aspersions on BOD who are trying their best, I'm sure. I'm not a newbie and so am fully aware that some directors cream off large undeserved sums, no need for you giving me chapter and verse on an example. In any case it was the jam promised to shereholders I was commenting on, I thought that was obvious. Anyway it was a lighthearted comment, so no need for you to take me to task for "nonsense". Hey ho...... PS I am a holder here.
