Has it occurred to you that the sentiment on here is shared by all the other investors who don't post, so what you read on here is a reflection of all other investors sentiment ?

Ftse gone from +50 to -25 most likely the reason, coupled with DOW down again 0.8 % @29700.

DOW is a bloodbath at the moment, down 2.4% at 31500. If that persists FTSE may well follow Monday.

The consolidation occurred ewhen the SP was about 70p. After consolidation the price was around 1400p. So the current SP of 650 ish is less than half the price at consolidation, a big drop.

I am a holder here, but I am starting to think there may be tears before bedtime. GLA.

If Capricorn is the new name for Cairn Energy (CNE), then it's trading at 198 not 383.

Yeah, if there's any left after paying the utility bills and putting fuel in the car !

I think the likely outcome here will be ownership being transferred to Morrisons owners, the US private equity group Clayton, Dubilier & Rice. Some mechanism to achieve this will be found, in my opinion.

Likely explanation is that the proposed sale of ITP as announced in the RNS has been cocluded so £1.7 billion in the bank.

At the moment is there's no volume, a paltry 2.2m traded in 5 1/2 hours, little more than a dribble. I was thinking there would be some buying from tracker funds.

Futures prices are relevant to traders, not producers. Increased spot prices means more income from the unhedged barrelage now, in addition to the guaranteed income from the hedged production.
