A case of mistaken identity methinks...

I've not been investing long, mostly funds but I have my fingers crossed that this will come good for me. I have no idea whether this will be an asset sale or a takeover but it doesn't really matter because 3 weeks ago I'd never heard of the company and if I gain from this then that will be great. The potential IMO is huge and may make a difference in my life. I wish the same for others. I understand the doubts but the signs IMO are good that this company has an awful lot of experts working for it and they have done a lot to make a success of it for everyone involved. TBH if this comes good I'll be looking for the next company they're involved with. They've shown great patience.

I also believe the Earth is round although I've never been to space.

SJ - I think a lot of buyers woke up to this when the board said that 2 banks were looking at strategic options along with the information that there is a lot of metal in the flanks at MT. Dmitry's interview on Proactive investors did it for me, along with the many interviews Christian and he have done over the years that have all built up to where we are now. I really don't need to see all the evidence, I wouldn't understand it anyway but there are wiser heads than mine on here who have been here for years who have stuck with it.

Although I see green I have to read about half a page of related content so you know he's been about..... Rolls eyes....

Deos is a holder in Metro and is 60% down. He's living in hope of a rise there. Seems like a nice guy but maybe he's annoyed he didn't get in here like us wise owls. He's no shorter though.. IMHO. Loving the eua experience having been in here for 3 weeks. Obviously wish I'd been in longer but I'm thankful for the opportunity and to the guys on the metro board for pointing me in this direction.

Mtro & Pdl are my first 2 individual share buys (although I did have a brief dalliance with wpct, but I got cold on that one quickly). So far I'm enjoying the ride.... and it's quite a ride. I'm still down but I'm happy to be in it for the long haul for big bucks..... Comparatively... 8-)

I was reading Burford Capital's response to the muddy waters twitter message linked attack on the 7th August. It gave a lesson on spoofing and layering, terms which I hadn't heard of but appear to involve the cancelling of orders to drive the price down. I was wondering whether that might have happened here with Metro, if not yesterday then at some point before as there have been some big drops. I'm a relative newbie to investing but I do have a stake here as I took a chance over the last couple of weeks as surely this is undervalued.
