ok it's become a little clearer now thanks, but basically they've said to Numis ok here's �15m go and buy back as many shares as you can with it - the 67m share number is just a red herring ? Is there any way of (easily) finding out how much of that they've spent so far ? Just a gut feel that the share price will rise when they have finished buying them back (or close to it), I've rebought my traders just now anyway near 72 as I believe there is strong support around here and always chance of a buyout

nope, still don't get it. 65m shares is only 10% of all of the current issued shares so not like they would require a delist

I wonder if anyone could answer a puzzle to someone who obviously doesn't comprehend:- from the rns 14/11/17:- "Vectura has entered into an agreement with Numis Securities Limited ("Numis") on 13 November 2017 to enable Numis to use the maximum consideration of �15 million from today until a period expiring on 11 May 2018 to purchase Shares in accordance with the terms of the general authority to make market purchases of up to 67,872,000 of its Shares granted to Vectura by its shareholders at the 2017 Annual General Meeting held on 25 May 2017. The purpose of the Buyback is to reduce the share capital of Vectura and any Shares purchased will be cancelled" So the intention is to buy back up to 67m shares with a maximum consideration of �15m, now by my calculations 67m shares at an average of say 75p equates to �50m so way more than the "maximum consideration of �15m" Therefore I'm puzzled how they are going to be able to buy back all or anywhere close to 67m shares, I'm obviously misunderstanding something ? Could anyone explain please ?

I hear what you're saying Rory, yes of course he does make money from flogging his seminars, books etc, and I take some of his blog trades with some pinches of salt because of the sceptic in me, however I've also seen him in action live recently and watched him make his buys and sells live (proven), I thought long and hard about whether I would just be swelIing his coffers but I wanted to get to the next stage through his teaching, he's actually very down to earth and fun and a genuinely funny and nice guy (even if he is rich and coining it !). I did however challenge myself to get back the money I invested in the seminar and I did this successfully (25%) after researching on a share he mentioned at the seminar but he didn't buy, the share was Severfield (SFR) and it was a share I wouldn't have noticed before, so win for him and a win for me on this occasion. He's also always willing to answer e-mail queries speedily. Anyway, shame havent had an opportunity to read how he's dealt with VEC, the sceptic in me says his blog will suggest he sold the remainder at 120

I would tend to disagree with both of those statements to a degree, I've done very well since I began trading 'his' way, piggybacked a couple of very good ones on a couple of occasions too. Agreed some of his 'tips' do go up on the day he mentions his buys but the mms don't push them up in advance generally like they might other tipsters, eg Midas. I see his blog now mentions 'no update until Mar 1 because of flu', been updated today, shame maybe he's got the same flu that knocked me for six 3 weeks ago

It will be very interesting to see what The Naked Trader says and what he has done with the ones he bought at 68 & 71 back in 2012 in his blog tomorrow, they are the only ones remaining open (as of 3 weeks ago) and Vectura was one of the jewels he had very high hopes for when he bought them

where's the promised profit ?
