The only problem I find with that approach is that you tend to forget or lose interest, and then when you check it out 6 months later it's risen outside of your comfort zone, that's what I've found out to my cost on other shares anyway

well that interesting discussion on herbalife on here the other days and how it was controlled by the shorts I foound really useful and so far has panned out this morning how I was hoping/expected. I expected if news was good/ok then the shorts would close some up to resistance and reshort there, so I managed to close out at 132 and now wait for a good entry as I believe shorts will now control this on the long haul back up

lol - all it told me was that they are burning cash quicker than some thought but couldn't do it as a placing below nominal value

Great Gibbo, it would help to understand the stage payment criteria for both supply & delivery to the customer, and expected dates of such, but I can understand if you do not wish to divulge

Short term cash will depend on the terms and delivery of the $4.5m contract received in March, they received the advance payment in April but we have no idea of the contract payment terms and they will have had to outlay supplier payments and we have no idea on the payment terms for the supply either, and no idea of margin too, just that the contract is going to be "largely delivered in the financial year". I suspect they would have run out of cash by now if they hadn't received that contract.
Lunghi increases will help, as has that contract, but tbh I haven't got a clue how long cash will last because we don't have enough detail on the $4.5m contract.

seem to be doing relatively ok but I have to question why the company is on aim at all, there doesnt seem to be any advantage for the associated cost, interested but always a risk of them going private

quoting what I said yesterday on Stockopedia yesterday I like what they are doing, "APC intends to grow its business to revenue of £50 million to 75 million within 3 to 5 years, principally by growing its Components and Property Technology divisions", this from a current revenue base of £15m. I like the change of structure in 2017, sale of existing loss making business and the focus on proven profitable business and I bought into it.
Both chairman and ceo bought into todays acquisitional placing which was at premium to the existing share price

seems we have been battered down from 200 to here on nothing but fresh air, that's shorters for you. I don't normally average down (am 5% down currently) but I'll wait for results and hopefully buy into a short squeeze

I just say what I see, I think Charlie has a good point, like most aim companies at the gutter end this is a dog that will probably die over the long term but it's great for a trade now and then on a hunch. I don't need to talk it down as it does that on its own
I've done better trading this now than I ever did in the 5 years of broken promises, I save my long termers for better companies that actually generate money and grow

TradingInvestor I have L2 but still trying to learn, I get the 'sell orders v buy orders' & market depth but your comment of "L2 simply refreshing any large buys with more stock to sell," means I still have more to learn, can you explain how & where you see the evidence please.

interesting article on hedging in IC a couple of weeks ago, talked about how commodities have had their recovery, but also mentioned how wheat and corn have not and are at decade level lows even accounting for inflation.
With an increasing world population and global warming it caught my attention, etf's are WEAT & CORN,
