I agree, this has been one of my better shares about 60% profit (eventually) having bought in 2021 and sold near the highs (fortunately), but this is a shorters paradise now with the speculation and uncertainty of a cash raise they will hold their shorts and go for the jugular imo. This has further to go but the fun is to be had when they eventually start closing. I'm looking for at least 30, 25 even
You should of course also mention the downside of £80m debt for the newbies, a massive spread and an annual loss of over £60m, that's why they have the need to keep raising money, this is not a long term share by any means and could go bust any day
Sells can be disguised as buys we all know that, my reasoning has always generally been logical that if the sp falls then there are more sellers than buyers. What is so good about the company that this share will go up now after a 40% drop, why should there be a turnaround in fortunes ? are we expecting news ?
I'm always interested since I sold out at 130 but at the moment it would be just bottom fishing non ?
Never a good idea to get involved when a share is being heavily shorted, they have an uncanny knack of getting it right. Time to buy is when they have had their fill, the sp is at rock bottom and they start to buy back, there can be healthy gains at that point.
Maybe the interims will be fair, just without any forever forecast transformational contracts to show up, or am I being deluded again ?
"We have commenced 2023 on a positive note with Q1 trading ahead of budget and, whilst remaining mindful of the global uncertainty which could yet have adverse impacts on trading, we expect 2023 to be a record year."
"Our West African airport operations have continued the growth we saw in 2022 and are currently running at record levels"
"we commenced 2023 with over £5m of annual recurring revenues, which we expect materially increase through new contracts during the year"
however,
"we believe a record year of revenues and profitability are in sight for 2023. The key to achieve this, of course, is to secure new contracts with enough time to recognise revenues in the year and we are working hard to deliver that."
fascinating as ever though
Never in doubt even though I voted against with my pitiful shareholding. Can't call then crooks as it's all legal but very very low what they have done throughout their short time on AIM and I'll never trust any company with their name against it. Thankful to have actually made a small profit during their short term with some profitable (and unprofitable trades) and not unconvinced there isn't another trade available before they delist. Very tempted to hold my pitiful £30 worth just to give them extra admin and to see what ultimately happens, it's not a loss to me.
From the very beginnings of buying themselves all fancy big cars to the final blaming their shambolic management on everyone but themselves, just scum !
Don't know how they're going to talk their way out of this one, but they will ! suspect they'll focus on the positives (Lunghi, guarding possibly) and make the negatives appear positive (all kindly listed below by Yrabs).
I'll be focussing on the cash and I'd like to see how far they've had to dig into the overdraft. September 29th is a Friday I see and not always the best for releases, maybe they'll release it after hours eek !
I'd still like to see them actually achieve as it would be a good trade but it seems unlikely now it will ever happen, but whilst currently out of this heap I retain some forlorn hope
Bilge, Woody, Mike, Anybody who is interested.
In all seriousness you're fighting your battle of words with the wrong people imo, you should be questioning the people who are directors of the company why the share price has forever fallen and why they don't act with integrity. You have a right to ask.
More likely that you know that liquidity is low in the summer months and easy to pump. You should of course mention the downside of £80m debt, a 33% spread and an annual loss of over £60m, that's why they have the need to keep raising money, this is not a long term share by any means and could go bust any day
