Getting close to that time of the year when they need to fess up again and try and hide (or not relay) bad news. Maybe they'll give us the trading update beforehand that tells us that DRC is behind (their own) forecasts, or perhaps they wont. Or move the year end again in the hope that something materialises, yeah that would be right.

I do hope this rns wasn't put out for the wrong reasons, I looked at their last going concern notes they really are running on fumes right now, they never got the legal compensation they were due for one. It's worth looking at the Dec 2024 commentary on their website metalnrg.com to see wjhat issues they have.

It reminds me of what a couple of others did recently, ie put out an rns and then raise, I'm not in and I'm not saying they will but seeing the sp not rising (as it possibly should) makes me suspicious enough to wait

Rumours (facts ?) shot down in seconds, noticeable that they are quick to squash bad news, if only they were as quick to notify bad news like DRC significantly below expectations. For me the fact that they are mentioning rumours about Gabon income at all might just suggest they haven't actually collected any income yet.

Cant say I understand all the ins & outs here but I am researching since the rise of yesterday. I noted there were not many rns's listed here and found that they had changed their name from Metalnrg (MNRG), I found an rns dated 27/11/24 that contained the following paragraph and wondering if this is now superseded or has it already happened ?

"As noted in the Company's circular of 11 November 2024, in order to implement the Acquisition, the Company needs to raise new equity capital and intends to conduct a placing to raise this new equity capital from investors in connection with the closing of the Acquisition (the "Placing"). The Company is proposing to raise up to £15 million pursuant to the Placing, which will be conditional on Admission.
