Midoom. Good post from you 13.12 and I agree. I cax my buy order for 18.9 this morning. Amachado1969 are you for real "no reason to cax a booking at the moment" I know I wouldn't fancy being confined to my suite/cabin on board for two or three weeks being sent food by crew members who could be infected with the virus. I will consider over the next week at what price I might pay for this penny share, one thing I will promise is that if I do buy in it will be a fraction of what the new boss paid and will also be for may times more the amount he bought.

I can understand you feeling foolish, most of small investors make the same mistake in thinking "surely it cant drop anymore"
when it surely can and often does. I don't think you will lose your investment but sadly you could have had a lot more shares for your money had you waited. They do say "never try and catch a falling knife" Provided there are no deaths on any of the ships and there are none placed into quarantine over the coming months then there is a chance the share price will recover gradually during this year. I hope no good honest shareholders lose out due to this horrible virus.

Amers. Hope you don't lose the rest of your investment. If you had a spare 6 grand today would you invest it in TCG? if the answer would be "not a chance" like most sensible investors then maybe you should consider reconsidering your decision to hold on.

Also as holder of RBS for many years when I bought them for 13p ( which was £1.30 after the 1 for 10) I understand better than some that there is not a lot to gain from a share consolidation alone. If TCG drop a little under 60p again over the next few weeks they might be well worth a punt in my opinion. They seem to have been holding pretty steady for a while now. GL all holders

Harry, if you held shares in Inchcape you should know that the share consolidation (or "change the share price" as you stated) had nothing whatsoever to do with the recovery of the Company.

This time last year I booked over twenty TC holidays for friends and family (at their cost) mostly bargains at £200 ish for different weeks in July. Mostly at over 50% off the going rate. This year I have booked none due to the price being over double in most cases and this can surely only mean TC are doing a lot better than this time last year and not having to "give them away". Hope I'm correct and you holders do a bit better over coming months (I currently hold no TCG shares) GL all

"Confusion" I agree you sound a little confused but never mind. Let me make my position totally clear then I really must get on. I suspect we are starting to bore everyone to death on here. If at any time in say 2015 or anytime in 2016 you had posted that there was to be a plane landing at Doncaster from the TC fleet in September 2016 I would have stated straight away that it would not be happening. And I would have been correct wouldn't I? Is there a Thomas Cook aircraft due? Of course not.(not this year anyway) You are mistaken to say that My comment that I knew this was not a TC plane is not factual, as clearly it is proved to be fact. Finally when one repeatedly uses capital letters it implies shouting which in turn often implies aggression so in view of your last post I will not be posting comments to you again. I trust however that if you do get to go on the latest Turkish holiday you have a safe journey and a lovely time.

When you first stated (at 10.46 Friday) "using Thomas Cooks own flights" I took that to mean you meant a Thomas Cook plane!!!! as I am sure most people would have who read your post. I new this was not a Thomas Cook plane and also that it was never intended to be one hence why I stated I was interested in the first place. I did not suggest that Thomas Cook were chartering Thomson flights but stating facts that they do charter flights and that Air Europa are one they are currently using. I believe I am correct in "my observation" so no corrections from you are required. If you are a holder of TCG shares I hope your investment proves to be a good one. Hi and thanks for reply. Thomas Cook planes do not fly into Doncaster as far as I am aware and never did offer that destination on one of their own planes. Using Thomson they are no different to any other "Travel Agent" they sell the holiday and get a commission. When they are flying/offering holidays to Spain from Doncaster they are using Air Europa which is a totally different thing as they Charter the plane and crew More and more now TCG are becoming "just another Travel Agent" which is one of the problems with this Company. They failed with their attempt into cruising when all the other Companies were booming and now sell cruises for Thomson (main competitor) as well as all/most of the other cruise lines offerings.

I find your post interesting but before I comment further please confirm the destination of the Thomas Cook flight departing Doncaster in September. Regards

I am not holding any of these shares at this time. I am sure that all you holders will make money here in due course and I have cash waiting and am keen to buy in but I do think this could drop a little more yet to say £1.60 or even a bit less (no big deal) I will keep reading the posts which I enjoy doing and even though I consider myself an experienced investor I have learned a lot visiting this board.
