Guess there are quite a few unhappy people this morning. Quite a few feeling just a little foolish perhaps with some of their comments posted on here recently. Not the mms though I bet. Looking at the spreads they are/have been doing very well Remember what I told you.......... It will all turn out OK in the end. Please stop ****ging off the Directors, but for their actions I bet most holders would have lost out big time. Please show more respect for the new Chairman too, some comments are disgusting. He sounds a really nice guy to me and not just into this "Saga" to make a quick profit. I think he wants to do all he can to help in particular the long standing loyal shareholders (I am not one of them) And also to help turn this situation around for everyone's benefit. Not everyone is selfish and only thinks of themselves. DYOR. This won't drop much more now, trust me ......I am a Doctor remember.
I did warn you the Company was running out of money. Some of you were not happy with me. Some of you continue to talk nonsense. You know who you are? Did anyone on here really believe they were not going to be asked for their financial support for this Company. Did anyone really think the insurance division could bail out the cruise division. Cookoo land. Absolute cookoo land. Although I think there might be quite a few unhappy people tomorrow it will all work out though, trust me....... I'm a Doctor lol. Good luck all. DYOR.
My posts might appear to be negative to you, could be thats only because they show a different opinion to yours. I do know that the truth does hurt some people so sorry that my posts appear to "wind you up". I have been consistent since the IPO and for long before I bought in. I remember when the new boss bought a load I posted then I would be buying for a lot less and also would buy a lot more than he did and that was also a fact. I am showing a substantial paper loss at this time with my holding even though most were bought at 13p to 14p to I do accept I am not perfect by any means but even you should admit that picking the exact low is very difficult and I am not too disappointed that I got it right but for a couple of pence. Its better to be honest even if negative though one hopes for positive news it is not always possible. Good luck all.
Some facts for you. rupans no need to feel sorry for me I assure you. Pianista, I did not predict 10p. I did state if it dropped below 12P (I think) it could go to 10p.Read my post beginning of March when I stated "price could drop below 20P" I was not a share holder then. I started buying at 14p ish. I have never shorted saga. I think my perditions and thoughts have been fairly accurate to be honest. Finally I genuinely hope the many on here do at some time recoup some of their heavy loses. Good luck all, even the very sarcastic ones. DYOR
I was informed a few days ago that it was suggested and it has been announced today by Carnival that Cunard have further delayed next years sailings. Queen Victoria will not sail until May 16th. Queen Mary not until April 18th and Queen Lizzie 25th March. It could well be that the rumours of other cruise lines doing the same prove to be true. DYOR. I have decided not to go on my Saga cruise and have also cax one I had booked with another Company. I am sure that many others will do the same, just too much uncertainty, not worth the hassle. I bet many who have rebooked from previous cax cruises will not book again and want their money back this time. Looking very bad now for Saga cruises INHO. DYOR hope I am wrong
It is starting to look very bad for sure. I hope the price stays above 10p or we are in real trouble IMHO. DYOR but I can not see any sort of positive announcement. I am expecting really bad news any time soon to be honest. Ships are now starting to sail again but our share price is very close to all time lows. The people in the know must know how bad things are getting/have got so we are bound to get some news soon I am sure. Forget hoping for profits I will be happy if I am still trading this share in a few weeks but expect massive losses due to the cruise part of the business dragging us down. Personally I think Saga will run out of cash very soon. Hope I am wrong, good luck all. DYOR its only my thoughts based on gut instinct not any information I have got from anyone else.
Does anyone on here really believe the Saga could break even this year? Not a chance imho. Its more about if the Company can survive to me. Fred Olsen have now cax all cruises until March and more and more Companies are pushing back again. I reckon we will be asked for some dosh before the end of this year to see the Company through. Yes might have saved a few quid on claims but will not make any difference imho. DYOR. Good luck all, we are going to need it
Hello Pokerchips. I think they will use "fogging" on cruise ships, kills everything as far as I know and leaves no sign after only minutes of being used. Two operators could do a massive dining room in about 15 minutes and the stuff does not cost the earth. They would probably start at 3am ish each evening and do all the public rooms by 6am ish. Just my opinion but I also believe cruising will become known for one of the safest forms of travel, some of the best Virologists in the world are working for the biggest cruise lines now and they will come up with new procedures that will ensure our safety. Cruising is a multi Billion industry so no shortage of cash to ensure safety. If they don't there will not be a cruise industry this time next year will there? Stay safe all.
Just booked 14th April from Southampton. They pick me up from home 11am and bring me back two weeks later by private Taxi. 8 grand for both of us for a balcony cabin. Got discount on advertised price that covered cost of taxi upgrade for two and not one that involved sharing with another couple that would have been included in basic price. Not cheap but not bad value taking everything into account.
Thanks. Have kept having a look for a while now and again and enjoy reading your posts. Not seen anything from zorros? last seemed years ago when I thanked him for his SOLG tip that netted me a couple of cruises. Wow them were the days, never made so much money. Keep safe my friend and also same to the other polite posters on here from my past.
Missed you too my friend but I am back in now after a few years absence so look out for this share to start to do well again. Sorry to see you are still getting a bit of stick from some of the "Children" A1. Quid by Christmas do you think@ lol.
Although I am not sure if I am ready to book a cruise at this time I do think the Saga ads in the mail today are excellent and should give some confidence. 250 miles each way chauffeur to the port, UK sailings only, 999 maximum passengers and all balcony cabins. That's sounds pretty safe to me. They might be expensive but us oldies like convenience value and safety above everything else and there is the benefit of the insurance cover too. (plus the all inclusive lol) After a terrible year it might be that plenty of us do want to get away later this year or book for next year and have some thing to look forward to especially if they have kept well and safe for the last few months. Even our old Dad (92) has started to go out a bit and wants to get a cruise booked soon. If Saga get through the next few months with little more in set backs I really do believe the cash flow will increase quite quickly going forward and Saga could do a lot better than some of the larger cruise lines
Good post from you Harry, keep well and prosper. DYOR everyone. Good luck all holders over the coming months
