Does anyone have any thoughts on the potential here ?
I'll be honest and say I'm a very small holder here with approx £500 of shares. When I've this value in a stock I want something that has the potential to double or treble in a few years.
I basically want boom or bust on an investment of this amount (and will accept a bust of any share I have in this category). What I don't want is something that ticks along doing very little, even 5 to 10% plus or minus annually.
My question is therefore, do you think Zam has this 2 to 3 times growth potential in the coming few years or is it likely just to tooter along without much drama ?
Ta for any replies and fingers crossed Zam can take off upwards. Good luck all.
I may be analysing this too much but looking at the number of transactions and the value of each transaction recently, it appears as if most buys are not of any big value (bar the 20k and few higher 4 figure buys).
This suggests to me that most of these buys could be coming from private investors. Thinking out loud here. How do most of these investors hear about Infrastrata and how do they come to invest in Infa ?
Is it broker recommendations, hearing about it from other investors like ourselves, local knowledge about the company, have someone on the ground recommend it ie from someone working in H & W, from monitoring interested party / director buys and investing in companies with that method, from reading financial press or online research, etc ?
Just curious, and wondering do us existing investors contribute much to spreading the word on Infa to other potential investors ?
Way hey ! I wonder what's happened today to put this up a bit ?. It's sat doing nothing for quite a while now.
Im keeping my fingers crossed here Inv1977. It will be interesting to see how their link up with the Law Society has progressed so far with attracting new monies in.
Their Protected fund has held up well with the market falls recently and going forward it will also be interesting how this fares. Bearing in mind the recent volatility and future uncertainty , will investors see this as an attractive option for growth potential with a level of protection, or do they stay full on in 100% equity type funds for the higher growth opportunity. Time will tell.
I'll be delighted Speedy with .50P plus today, but won't pop my prediction down for today's closing price.
With the momentum this stock now has and the potential game changing news to come I'll be surprised if the Friday closing price is as low as 0.50. My prediction though is in the range of 0.55 to 0.65 on Friday.
This is just my own thoughts and hunch I have on a very good week to come, but obviously folks do your own research and act only on your own thoughts. Hopefully not sounding patronizing but for the less market experienced investors who might be reading this, this is still a higher risk AIM share with the associated risks and volatility from that. Be very excited about the gains to be made but equally be aware of the fall potential too.
This morning's RNS of another management buy is very positive, particularly as it's from the Operations Director (Paul Blake) of H & W.
Now the Operations director in my opinion would be a position that would very obviously know what work was in . . . . or more importantly . . . . coming in.
I'm as positive as I've ever been on this stock.
I'm taking huge encouragement from these family buys.
Personally I don't like giving share tips to any friends. I'll take a punt with my own money but won't be responsible for theirs.
I definitely don't give share tips to family for the same reason plus I'm a lot closer to them.
Taking it a stage further, I under no circumstances would give a tip to anyone about investing in a company I was linked to as if it did go boobies up, I would feel even more responsible for their losses.
This is just me though.
To me though, seeing management AND family members investing, is a massive signal of positivity.
The BBC Northern Ireland news item on Kilroot power station was good to read this morning. It announces that Kilroot power station is converting from coal fired to gas powered after being awarded a new energy contract.
This is great from a local employment perspective but could there also be benefits in some way for Infa ? Kilroot will now obviously be a major gas consumer with a responsibility for supplying the electricity network and it's also located less than 10 miles down the same coastline as Islandmagee.
Just thinking out loud (and in text) here.

Ya pinched my name Tango. I've copyright on this time next year, lol. I'm hoping though it could be in the next few months this takes off. Thistimenxtyeer.
I've recently purchased this share as i wanted to increase my pharma percentages in my investments and felt there is good potential here with RENE. I can't believe the RENE page here is so quiet though. Anyone want to say hello back to get a discussion going here ?
With the recent falls in markets obviously the Tavistock FUM will have decreased. Are there any sites where we can actually see an up to date figure for funds under management ? Thanks in advance.
Si Derman's info is very interesting in compiling a list of what percentage us folk in here are holding. (Thanks SD for doing this).
I'm now curious are most of here from N Ireland or what geographic diversity there is here ? Obviously this has nothing to do with the share price but I'm wondering how most of us came to be Infa investors.
Was it local knowledge that got some investing, a broker recommendation, etc ?
As for me, I'm in N Ireland (Tyrone). I started researching Infa after I seen an anti Infa type post on Facebook about salt mines supposedly going to be destroying the Irish Sea. This made me aware of the company for potential investing (and I now believe the Irish Sea concern isn't an issue with the tests done towards the ML).
Any other stories from how we all came to be here as investors ?
Another few figures for your spreadsheet Si. I've just topped up with another mill (or 1,003,980 to be exact). That's me on 11.5m. Come on infa, you're now the biggest holding in my SIPP.
I totally agree Jfk9. I'm here a while too and my 66k (in my SIPP) is now down to around 29K in value. Would i sell if my Infa shares got to 50k in value (and a net loss of 16k) ? No way ! !
Would i sell if i got my 66k value back ? No way ! ! !
I'm holding out for a 6 figure value before i sell. Even if i do get to that figure I'll probably just reduce and not sell all. Always the optimist . . . . as we need to be in any AIM stock.
Time on my hands last night had me Googling decommissioning as i don't know a lot about it. I know though that H & W done a lot of wind turbine work and was thinking could their contacts from that line of business be the same contacts responsible for actual wind farm decommissioning.
There certainly seems to be major expenditures involved for oil and gas structures as well as turbine decommissioning. Hopefully H & W might see a slice of this cake. Just a thought.
I've attached an interesting article on this if anyone's interested.
https://environmentjournal.online/articles/wind-farms-why-decommissioning-must-form-part-of-the-plan/
From JW's recent interview (which i thought was very positive) he mentions that he won't obviously make an RNS for every single project H & W are working on, it will just be on the larger or longer contracts.
It also appears there is a lot or work already tendered for so hopefully the future pipeline of contracts will start to come through soon. The suits, (suits said respectfully) seem to be well on the ball with their prospecting for business and the management team we have in place inspires great confidence for the future.
My question though is, just how busy are the 70+ dirty hands guys (also said very respectfully) on the ground at the minute ? Are they being kept busy on a day to day basis and what is the 'everyday' type of work they are working on ?
Anyone any knowledge from the workshop floor ?
I'm curious on the daily type work that goes on in the yard and also has the Covid situation affected it ?
I've been just a viewer here up to now on LSE but have finally decided to register. I'm in infa for a while now (wish it was more recent).
As folk have been posting holdings recently I thought I'd throw my numbers into the pot too as a private investor. Sitting on 10,500,000 here.
