The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
That's great advice south. I think your right on the odds of a better return on the lottery!
Dummy yeah agree. That was incredible. My holding of near enough £6000 is now worth £100!! At 300000 shares at an average of 1.8p a few years ago I had a way out potentially with some good leadership from our CEO but being consolidated to 3500 at now £1.65. Jesus!! Super R. I still for the sake of my cash hope this comes good but definitely know it's never gonna turn around! Just not worth selling my holding!!
There are plenty in the same predicament! How he holds that position still is beyond belief!! Not sure how this company hasn't been dragged through the courts! Better be careful what I say!! Only CEOs seem to be able to do and say what they want!!
After having recieved a warning from LSE for stating facts in a previous post regarding my thoughts on this share!!! Which I based on my 6 years or more of owning these!! I would further like to add that if anyone seriously believes that this company will return any value then be fore warned!! They never deliver any promise. If this isn't factual then just look back through the years of undelivered projects!! Of which there are loads including oil exploration, Cuba deals and so many more!! Idiens should be reported not share holders!! Anyway from owning over 300000 shares at an average of 1.8p a few years ago and after last few consolidations of this terrifying share I now have 3500 shares at an average of £1.65. Great value
Wrong board!

Another usual SXX update this week that seemed to give less answers and more questions!! BOD.. need to learn how to deliver information!! There were positives but the lack of detail spooks the investor!! For me it has always been a long term play but saying that I am starting to feel that we are being played a little!! I have invested my cash for retirement but to be honest have resigned myself over recent years that 80 years old is ok as I would probably get bored anyway!! I can leave my cash here for 20 + years potentially if I stay healthy and don't need it, so these drops don't worry me! I'm in no doubt this mine will get built!! My annoyance is that we are in transition between getting it built and finding cash!!! Yet we have started building and gone head long and appear to be going big guns into the build.. so why did we do this if we didn't know we could secure funding??!!! To me it seems mental!! From recent activity I do start to feel that the PI is been used to prop this build and the large institutions and investors are just buying their time to reduce their own risks!!! I understand that's what they do!! My personal feeling is that in this country there aren't many investments for lenders to have a product that can be commercially sold around the world with a life span of 100 years!! Bout time they got on board!! My worry is that after potentially 20 years in the future of holding in this project my investment may return less than if I had put it in one of those terrible ISAs! My reason for this is the fact that after investing just pre first planning refusal and investing thereon after through planning approval and other milestones I am sat on not much profit!! Love the fact it is creating jobs and is providing opportunities for the north east but it must be profitable and we'll run to provide that security for generations!
I would hold the board personally responsible for stage 2 delivery.. in a different decade this would be a no brainer!!! this isn't an oil prospect it's a quality product that has years if not 2 generations worth of production once fully functional! If you can't sell that then you might as well hope for colder winters and we will sell the rock salt!! Silver lining!! Hopefully not! Fingers crossed!
See what plays out these next few weeks! Think everyones gonna be taking a bit more interest in the coming month or so . Every milestone this company achieves and delivers, I have been impressed!! This stage 2 delivery will hopefully see this mine built! These next few weeks could potentially deliver this mine!! At what cost?! I am hoping the board stay strong and believe in the product they have.. I don't think this will be the last hurdle but a massive boost if we all get what we hope for!
Whether you agree or not! No one knows stage 2 yet!!. Some probably do but we aren't privvy to that!! you either wait for the news or hedge and sell before!! For me I am expecting some update on stage 2 by end of this quarter!! This is what I have in my mind and have been led to believe by our board! This funding is going to be pivotal to share holder value whichever way it goes! To see the potential this mine has you have to look beyond these early years!! Amazes me that the UK government hasn't got behind this yet but I suppose they have their eyes off the ball at the minute!! Hopefully after march they will start to focus on the bigger picture!!
This share takes your money! Do not invest here. Few years back they had a play and Fu**ed it. The oil price did crash but that didn't rest affect the duster they found!! Have been sapping cash ever since promoting Cuba deals and further drills!! Personal experience don't fund their lifestyle!! I and many others have probably lost their cash!! BOD need to do a proper days graft!!
Even £2 a share is cheap.. on production in my book.. just ride with it!! Will be quiet for a while hence the shift of money.. come December / January it will all come piling back! I will keep buying at these prices!! If your invested and haven't passed the site then I suggest you do. It will ease your worries! Your cash is building a mine, local and skilled jobs, income for the area and the uk.. and potentially feeding the world!! What is there not to invest in?! Think about it!!
We are the foundation of this project! The folk who put their hard earned cash into a project that will hopefully benefit.. A, the area and B, gain a return for our retirement, kids futures or a mid life crisis!! What does bother me is the lengths we go to.. to ensure the banks and institutions have a de risked project!! They will pile in once this is a year or so closer to production. Till then the big players won't invest heavily.. Let the pis take the stress! Once we get to that day and iam convinced we will the scrap for these shares will begin!! Fingers crossed!!
Project appears to be on time and from the webcast the shafts are being sunk and now all specs for the engineering seem to be agreed with all partners for their part of the job.. This probably wasn't possible to affirm, until we knew we had funding the first time round and before we could approach separate firms to carry this out and tender for.. To reduce our own risk the company has selected companies which it feels it can work with and to further de risk has agreed to beef up the engineering. Im more than happy with this. Its going to cost more and achieving this will hopefully be de risked as the project carries on and financial institutions may be willing to supply debt as the mine hopefully progresses.. Stage 2 funding I think will come. The company has reduced costs in other areas as stated. Long way to go and anything can happen. Its always going to be a risk.. but for every milestone completed in the engineering we are one step closer.. I went in for more today.. Just a shame I didn't get in early doors.
Not been on here for quite some time.... Can one report from a journalist affect a share that much!! Surely not.. Its like listening to tweets from a current president.. If you know what you have invested in then make your choice, there will be drops.. Recent one came out of partnering with an agricultural leader.. Me personally, I top up after these rises as every drop follows a rise and hopefully the share price consolidates a little higher every time with progression of the project. Seen this share drop to low pennies and rise to 40p + and back down again.. I still hold. Make your choices but I believe Sirius have a product that when it comes to production will make a difference not only to the global market but to a region of the world that is crying out for investment and jobs!! But if we should invest more in the Super sewer and cross rail in london then so be it.. I mean this will change lives for Londoners..
