Am I correct in saying this nearly has 30 billion shares in issue? That is astronomical. I was looking at entering this on the basis that Lithium (despite short term noise in EV market) is extremely valuable and will only improve further as money cycles back into the fallen EV sector. So IF they get this Zulu plant operational there could be considerable returns. The two questions I would put to people who have been around the block on this one would be:
1) how long is a piece of string with this company and
2) is that share count as big as it gets on AIM!?
All the best.
Embarrassing SP performance post results. Results needed to be really good for it to move angain and despite flowing oil, clearly miles off where it needed to be. Market knows the only way the show goes on is a capital raise. So unless you get a blockbuster set of results and big move, these explorers will generally remain a “timing the market” game - post capital raise and upcoming catalyst in nearly always the way to go. I traded and made 50k after first flow test results. Lost 50k on trading around 2nd flow test results. I’m stupid thinking that it would have another move in the old dog, but not so stupid to admit that I was wrong. And that ladies and gentlemen is life trading risk assets. Good luck to those that continue to hold through this, but unless you are deep underwater my advice would be to cut losses if not too offside and wait for next capital raise and catalyst and even then trade speculatively. GL all.
Scot, you're a mindless troll because you spend 90% of your time commenting on an equity that you're not invested in. You don't have a response to that or are able to explain why because...
you're a troll.
Have you noticed that Scot and Older go missing once they think their work is done and the SP is down? Then they magically appear again at close of play or before the next trading day to further de-ramp. Peasants.
Archbishop Desmond Tutu -
It’s classic AIM sell on news BS. Like I said sometimes it flys when it’s not deserved and sometimes you get sell on news regardless. I do think people will reevaluate once the dust has settled and I don’t think a placing will be due for a while yet with more independent information and assessments to come. You are right the horizontal wells will cost But that’s a typical judgement call being in an AIM stock of whether placing will come or whether they can get a JV in quick enough.
Add self absorbed to the below. 👍
Olderwiser - why don’t you do everyone a favour and shut up. If you had any genuine expertise or were an authority in a particular discipline, there’s no way on Gods earth you would time to spend your life commentating on an 88e message board.. it’s like this is your fulltime job and I’m sorry but it’s pathetic. Trading is a hobby to me, makes life exciting and enjoyable amongst the daily routine of working life - and this flow test has been a good run and provided excitement and a potential opportunity to make money on a company that has struggled in the past with delivery. I still maintain that most people thought it would have drill problems and flowing light oil would never happen. People probably fearful about future placings as a gut reaction as they move into commercialising the asset, which will cost - what’s new. whereas you, good god - lingering on these boards to scaremonger investors every day? You think people can’t make their own decisions? Grow up. They have flowed light oil on 2 sites. It will be commercialised or sold. I’m surprised the SP hasn’t done more - sometimes it really runs and sometimes you get a sell on the news and then people reevaluate. One thing is clear - You’re just another LSE troll.
All olderwiser has got is this 4 barrels or 24 barrels tosh. That is completely irrelevant because they WILL NOT be producing oil and money at these 20 ft vertical wells hence the words FLOW TEST. Horizontal wells will be the ones producing the oil, whoever buys the resource and that will be up to 12x tested flow rates as per the RNS. That is comfortably 30 million per year and it’s already been confirmed that there are hundreds are millions of barrels down there. What WAS NOT known before today was if it flows light or not - it does and it can be fully commercialised. End of story.
Think Olderwiser needs to see a therapist. I’m not even saying that in jest. If you had listened to that nutter after the 1st flow results you would have missed a 50% rise. And now he’s been up all night talking drivel over something he’s not invested in. You do sometimes worry for mankind.,
“Outstanding results”’commented Gilbert - why? Because it’s simple maths - 70 BOPD from the 1st site plus 50 BOPD from the second site, multiplied by 10 on horizontal drills equals 1200 barrels per day. Multiply that by the current price of oil (which is on the rise) and that gives you 100k per day. Multiply that by 365 and you are delivering 36.5 million revenue per year. The results are there, the resource is commercially viable and that’s undeniable. No one at the beginning was expecting 2 successful tests - they can now sell it or farm a JV, either way the company is worth far more now than it was before the flow tests.
Ok - why are you here then? Previously brunt or just providing a running commentary on the side-lines like the other two with no investment? And gambling or investing - what's the difference, it's the stock market. That's why people are here, to put their money to use as opposed to it sitting in a bank. People with a higher risk profile are here in a microcap risk asset for a major catalyst, if they want low risk and a dividend, go buy large cap equity in gold or commodities. Most people in here know that already - so tell us something new. GL.
Spot on MMO - all that matters is next week's RNS and results and subsequent revised valuation. Them two are just craving attention so don't give them any. I'd be surprised if some big buys didn't come in this afternoon, taking positions in anticipation of next week. GLA.
Also - this Scot guy or bot (whichever is applicable) posting all this drivel about valuations vs PANR is ridiculous. This is a micro cap risk asset with a lot of risk/reward, not a medium to large cap stock heavily valued on fundamentals + price to sales ratios... If the flow results are really good, firming up a major contingent resource for 88E then you'd like to think it would rocket - simple as that. This would be based on an exponentially improved valuation proposition (vs today) + improved market sentiment that would inevitably follow.
I agree with Mystic, this is crazy suppression from the MMs after a good 1st result, where buy volume has dominated. This hasn't really took off at all yet and this is a pivotal event for the company. I'm very interested next weeks results.
Stocks don’t always go up 5000% in one day and then dump. It’s not surprise data from a phase 3 trial on the Nasdaq. You would much rather it rise significantly over a number of days going into second flow test with still a lot to play for. If they deliver above what Pantheon did on 2nd flow test this could be really, really big. The market likes this and is still digesting - I’d imagine it will do very well over the coming days going into next flow test. GL
HE1 did not do 400% in one morning. Look at the chart, it multiplied over a number of days which is how LSE tends to go. People only just waking up to this and when it sinks in how significant this result is, coupled with the upper well still to test, I would be very surprised if this didn’t rerate over 1p soon. I think most LTH are grateful that 88e have finally delivered on a major discovery and proven the well is commercial
I rest my case 21 mil shares volume on this news is pathetic considering overall share count. ASX exchange is required as it’s the company headquarters. Be interesting to see what LSE does over the coming days and weeks here. Yanks like it already - I’ve been in this since 2019 so great to finally see some delivery.
Monkey’s**
Who gives a money’s about ASX - when this has moved in the past it’s invariably that London Stock Exchange has led the way. This is significant news, far better than what the doomsday folk were predicting. I imagine this will do very well indeed from now going into the second flow test - why not? This is a big deal after a lot of dusters and today its valued at only 30 mil mcap. GL
Some right pussies in here. What exactly has changed? The oil is still incontrovertibly there and will be delivered. The naysayers in here are looking for a quick drill and pump. Simple as. Nasdaq listing will send this - GLA
If Nasdaq listing doesn’t show you these guys are serious - nothing will. How many AIM explorers end up on the Nasdaq, answer is none. Therefore the oil is there and recoverable.
