Welcome back Gordon, hope all ok. how's the new hip? If it's given you a new lease of life I'm expecting some major buying activity your side pre production RNS :)
Gordon my friend you've been in this for so long you can't seem to see that this is an overwhelmingly positive RNS and have glossed over the fact that production is about to start - confirmed in the RNS! It's clear as day Roland and his team are driving this forward. GLA
ASX trading doesn’t seem bothered by the delay in the refrac to June and might be reacting to the reaffirmation of immediate production by captain Roland.
I’m 34 in July Gordon mate. (Maybe refrac results on my birthday - here’s hoping. Atb
Toptuf - you know very well (unless you haven’t read previous RNS) that the subject to funding bit is for the fracking of new wells, not the REFRAC which is already funded. So now you’re just being a plain deramper. Not one of you seems bothered about production actually starting again after years in the doldrums - bizarre. I’ve got more faith in Everton than your optimism.
Ok granted regarding the delay in the refrac would have been lovely to be this quarter in go along with recommence of production. But trust me time flys when you are busy - the summer will come in the blink of an eye and oilex will be producing by then. I think some of your comments are influenced in terms of waiting for years and years, well before oilex had 100% of Cambay. And to be honest lads, fair play to you for sticking it out because I would have been off investing elsewhere with those fundamentals. But I have been in here since Oilex announced they had agreed to get the whole of Cambay - totally different ball game. Since then we have GOI approval, cash for the refrac, environmental clearance, production to start as per RNS just now plus the refracs to come across multiple wells. None of that would have happened before oilex got the remaining 50%. I’m just asking for some perspective in relation to this particular refrac delay rather than sticking it in the same bucket as everything else. I choose to believe Roland will get the job done.
Sell up then Zag. If you don’t believe, sell. It is a question of simply of what you believe. The same doom and gloom brigade on here were saying GOI approval was never going to come and that came, did it not? This is going ahead and to repeat I will simply add on overreactions and profit when it does kick off. You are still talking like Oilex does not have 100% of Cambay - but all that matters, is it does. Nothing fundamentally changed apart from your emotions / throwing a hissy fit on an operational delay in India, which is totally normal if you’ve experienced India operationally. But they happen to be one of the biggest economies in the world now and need Gas and oilex are there to profit. And they will - mark this post. I’m done trying to explain the bleeding obvious.
Massive overreaction Gordon - production, for the first time in years confirmed to restart imminently. We will get flow rates and they will be able negotiate rates to improve revenue. And the refrac is clearly going to happen soon - so what it’s July? the global supply chain issues plus the lack of activity in India doesn’t make that unbelievable does it. I’ve gathered from that RNS they clearly know what they are doing. If people jump out because they ain’t getting the refrac tomorrow, despite imminent production, I will be adding on any daft overreactions. Everything clearly going ahead.
No issues at all there from my perspective. Oilex now clearly managed by a proper and professional outfit that know exactly what they are doing. Roland and his team is going to deliver on this. Production to restart imminently and fracking not far off as soon as equipment in place.
Yes the RNS did say that - this quarter. And we are still in this quarter for 15 days. And so an RNS would be required to amend timescales anything to the contrary of that. Some are confident on this week due to their research. You, who have done apparently done no research are just spouting fiction / scaremongering because your level of patience has elapsed. Use your head.
shenners -
why would Oilex go to the lengths of wrestling Cambay off the GSPC for years (after legal battle) for 100% ownership, then do Cash Raise to fund production restart, initial refraccing project / template for rest of the wells, get GOI approval, environmental approval for them just to stop at production and then go "do you know what, lets not bother"? - you're not making any sense or logic, just trying to scaremonger by the looks of it. If people have waited this long for Oilex to go again, then they can wait a few more days. Anyone with an ounce of common is loading the boat now before kick off.
Some people don’t understand the value here. Oilex have done nothing for years due to being in a constant battle for Cambay and now are about to restart production on a major asset . Anyone who thinks otherwise based on the activity / rhetoric from the company and recent RNS’ is not reading the situation. Proof is obviously in the pudding but it’s as clear as day in my eyes what this is about to do with Roland at the helm. I can see this running big time soon as the production RNS music starts, which is imminent.
ivans - they can't speculate in an RNS. that would be against market rules, it has to be pertinent and official. They will for sure drop it imminently - some that have spoken to Roland are confident in next week. either way, you will know about it when it lands, that is without doubt.
Never read so much nonsense in all my life. Zag and shenners - you’re letting your impatience and frustration get the better of you. Remember this is India we are dealing with - the other stuff dropped eventually didn’t it? Indian officials need managing because they are not organised. I deal with Indian resource in my job daily - they are nice people and passionate but their communication skills are often woolly so it’s just a case of steering them / pushing them and keeping them on track. But when the production and refrac starts there’s nothing stopping it then. And I certainly wouldn’t be questioning jasper’s information or his motives. He’s been forthcoming and pertinent so far has he not? It’s a bit disrespectful to accuse him of lying just because the news didn’t drop yesterday. Any day now. GLA
What is his seat number hahahaha. Funny Zag
If Oilex were producing Gas at the beginning of the quarter we would be flying today - Gas through the roof. It would do them well to be early for once.
I would not want to be out of this over the weekend. Cheers.
AimingHigh - enjoy your double cheeseburger from McDonalds with your 200 pound profit when it next goes to 0.25. GLA
Zag - that's exactly what drifting is on the AIM mate. 25% is pretty normal after a 40 or 50% rise. Works both ways. And I'd bet when the production news starts flowing it will motor again. But I think what the LTH are looking at is the potential for 0.50+ and that's only realistic with a good refrac so they have that crucial template to hit other areas of the basin. People like AimingHigh can troll all they want about rinse/repeat between 0.19+0.25 - not interested, enjoy your double cheeseburger in mcdonalds. If you've been in since waiting for the GOI approval or news that they are starting up Cambay again then whats a few more weeks!?! All the best.
A guy made a comment yesterday calling it spot on - It's the AIM so fickle people happy with 5% just bail out when there's expected news and it does not come as quick as they like. Or they think they can make 200% elsewhere. So the SP just drifts a bit. Good luck with that I say. The same guys will jump back in as soon as there's news and momentum, it's a simple as that - we've seen it many times before. Does it change the fundamentals or how close we are to production after such a long wait? Absolutely not. For me, I would absolutely kick myself selling for 5% less and then having to buy back considerably higher because I missed an important RNS. We know production is coming, we know the refrac is coming and if that's positive GAME ON. Nothing has changed. GLA.
