I now have a spreadsheet that tracks the daily volume of BB posts on selected shares, together with sentiments expressed (filtering out rampers, de-rampers and t-whats like oldspunkydog), to see if there is any correlation between that and the movement in the SP. This is still a WIP.

With regards to very low volumes of BB posts, especially over a sustained period of time, such as we are seeing with CYK, are akin to visitors to a dying patient being respectfully quiet.

I fear that Reverend oldsuckydog will be conducting CYK's funeral in due course.

A look at the SP history of JD Sports is, IMHO, a guide that there will from time to time be a fall in the SP but that, over time, the SP will head north and reach dizzy heights.

How do W7L's Trustpilot reviews compare to other retailers like W7L? Numerically, what is the percentage of poor reviews against the total number of sales?

And do you make all of your investment decisions based upon Trustpilot reviews? What about fundamentals like revenue, profitability, cash in the bank, debt levels (£0 in the case of W7L) and forward sales look?

I have just listened to Justin Waite's webinar of last evening and he has said that he will be holding W7L as the fundamentals have not changed. He expects traders to get involved over the next few months and so we may see some volatility in the SP.

Last night I read back through Justin Waite's analysis of W7L and his case for investing in the company and, despite this slight blip, the fundamentals are still rock solid. I am going to see what happens to the SP this morning and if it does not move up materially I will be buying some more.

Today's RNS is positive and, in theory, should result in an uptick in the SP.

What I particularly like is the enhanced share buyback programme which should, again in theory, underpin an gentle rise in the SP over the next 12 months.

I could see CYK being taken over by a company interested in acquiring its IP, which would certainly boost the SP. Although I am not sure that that is a solid investment strategy.

I was indeed Brokejoke.

It was the lack of sales and b***sh*t announcement about a huge % increase in revenue, without any actual numbers being given, that convinced me that something was amiss. When the crypto announcement was made I finally realised that CYK was a busted flush and so I sold all of my shares.

And yes, it would be good to hear what Toffers thinks.

The UK is already in recession IMHO.

Look at the mounting job losses, loss of confidence in property investment (commercial and residential), stagnating house prices etc etc. It is one of the reasons why the price of gold keeps reaching new highs.
