Thanks Sharebel. Good to see other users reading technicals. The candlestick pattern for the past week or so is the 'Hammer,' with the downwards trend, with today giving clear BUY signals on the candlestick pattern. Breakout inevitable imo

Basic technical on chart is showing support at £3,.25 and the next resistance at £4.55 followed by £5.79. It currently trying to breach the 20 day moving average (£3.77), if this happens we should see the price move to the £5.79 (50 SMA).

KarlTaylor - I have been on the receiving end of a M&A with Blue Prism last year. A company doesn't accept the first offer that is on the table. Further, if £12 was not not entertained 6 months ago, and given the macro climate, ASOS will not accept an offer of £8 (not that we have any confirmed sources of anyone wanting to offer, just a lot of speculation by the press) - it will be negotiated.

The Times cited city sources re: Turkish Online Retailer Trendyol in late Dec. The mooted deal would have placed ASOS SP value between 10-12 GBP a share. Talks are not active though and it just the news that has spiked an interest in the shares this morning. I am hope full even if a bidding war doesn't materialise then in 12-18 months time, the SP regains the £20 mark again as it is severely undervalued at the moment.

Looking at their historic data (i.e 2021) I assume this event (Interim Results) is open to analyst only on 12th April
