I seem to remember Bourbons or Digestives at RMAS
Warnings were quickly issued by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center (PTWC).
The PTWC said "hazardous tsunami waves are possible" for coasts located within 300km (186 miles) of the earthquake's epicentre.
This includes parts of Belize, Cuba, Honduras, Mexico, the Cayman Islands and Jamaica, it said.
But seismologist Dr Lucy Jones tweeted: "The M7.7 Jamaican quake produced sideways motion on the fault, so the tsunami risk is low."
The epicentre of the quake, initially reported as magnitude-7.3 before being upgraded, was 125 km north-west of Lucea, Jamaica.
Shaking has been reported in the Cuban capital, Havana, and in Kingston, Jamaica.
That was me going easy :)
Heard & understood
Have a good day all & lay off the sauce if you’re gonna post ;)
Hello hello hello - must be PinotGrigio o’clock, Fatal is back.
Believe me, that wasn’t ‘having a go’ it was asking for you to address & educate the alleged ignorance on this board.
No facts forthcoming = confirming my earlier suspicions, you’re just a miserable ****.
Fatal, I see posts here with opinions linked to facts eg linking the BPC team members background with the loan providers and linking previous successes, thus providing some basis for optimism.
Then I read of your claims of ignorance, without any substantiation other than it’s your opinion.
On the basis that true ignorance is simply a lack of learning or facts - please can you enlighten us with the facts that you are party to, which will take the members of this forum from ignorance to enlightenment, please. Because if there truly are facts that underpin your constant whinging and sniping, then I’d like to know of them to inform my investment decisions making moving forward.
SP explained at the most recent AGM that due to currency controls Bahamians were unable to invest in BPC, in spite of high levels of interest. This fund provides the nationals of the Bahamas with an alternate vehicle which meets current restrictions and share (hopefully) in BPC’s successes at a time when the share price is relatively low to that which it would be in the event of successful drill(s)
Parts of the EA application are specific to the rig to be used, exact methodology etc, so cannot be finalised until the whole supply chain are contracted.
Could anyone explain why the shares that the directors committed to purchasing via the OO aren’t shown via ‘Directors Deals’ - shouldn’t there be an RNS for this, or due to it being an OO isn’t this subject to the same regs ?
Thanks
Back in the day there was a ‘joke’ 87p party - on the back of possible share value should we hit black gold.
Was enquiring whether your Langans meet up was ‘prinks’ enroute to the 87p party :)
Bonnet da douche, bonnet da douche - is this a private soirée or an open invite pre-87p party ?
The terms of our licence dictate that 1st drill must occur before end 2020 ?
Gotta celebrate the small wins and enjoy the journey Grogs, else it’s **** or bust with a binary outcome
Stewart3250 - I believe all orders are secured in full by most if not all brokers to ensure sufficient funds are available to execute whatever the final trade is at the due date ie we don’t order millions and P1$$ it all up the wall beforehand !!
This was discussed at the AGM this year & we were told that membership includes clean up insurance in the event of a spill - i would have thought there is some form of excess or minimum claim, but this wasn't discussed in detail.
PS - as a member of the Queen Fan Club, i applaud your efforts
If existing shareholders choose not to partake in the OO and BPC fail to raise the required finance then surely they only have themselves to blame ? For years there has been complaints on here about the BoD keeping us in the dark - now we have the power to finance the drill - why would t we take up the offer ?? If the finances are raised then the SP will increase ?
Hi all, when would a deal realistically need to be signed, sealed & delivered in order for BPC to meet drill date obligations ? ie how much time to procure rig & leave a sensible contingency ?
Thanks SpiriteFan & you’re welcome Parpaing
I too have a holding in BPC & have provided facts not opinions - I’ll leave that to some of the more vocal posters on here.
Hi Parpaing
This was also raised at the AGM.
SP explained that the EA is a live document and is subject to changing legislation, technology and the finite EA will be subject to the specific details of the drill how/what/where. A generic EA was issued, but will be revised prior to drill - it’s the same as generic/specific Risk Assessments & Method Statements used in other industries.
The board did not consider this a blocker to any deal or a risk.
Hi Ti
The actual quote from SP at the AGM was
“To say that discussions with any company have stopped is not correct”
SP confirmed McQ are on an 8 month contract and it’s their Calgary office which are acting for BPC.
No idea Tiburn ? Looks like they’ve been deleted ???
Have to ask the board admin on that one I’m afraid
