Gilbosconi - I still fail to understand how £100m turnover equates to £1b+ company
You’re applying an arbitrary multiplier to potential turnover of the company - I’m afraid your sums don’t stack up
Gilbosconi
Genuine question, how do we calculate £4 a share from £100 million contract win ?
273 million shares = £1b+ company
£100 million doesn’t = £100 million profit
???
PoC I have ‘dyor’ hence the question ..
RNS 16/02/21
‘the £3.75 million Put Option under the Funding Agreement, which was exercised by the Company on 12 January 2021, remains subject to a similar final reconciliation process on 16 April 2021, with the reconciliation amount (if any) able to be satisfied in cash or shares (or any combination thereof) at both parties' discretion, after which any obligations under the Put Option will be fully satisfied and the Funding Agreements will terminate.‘
So my question stands
Any thoughts on the liability BPC are carrying after the LO funding debacle and potential finding gap for the planned activities this year ?
Aren’t we liable for the price difference between 2.3p and whatever LO sold at a loss around Spud ?
Could potentially be $$$+++
Good to see reasoned debate on here today, it’s been a while.
As per my previous post, I am a LTH with no alternative agenda.
Lots of chat around farm in partners, as the old adage goes - talk is cheap .... we’ve been in talks constantly for years, I attended AGMs & asked SP directly immediately after the exclusivity agreement as to the reasons for the failure to secure a deal, his response
‘ To say that discussions with any company have stopped is not correct.’
and his response to a follow up question was
‘You are inferring the discussions haven’t borne fruit’ (when asked why they failed).
‘Well’ here we are 2 1/2 years later and the fact remains they haven’t borne fruit.
We were led to believe the ‘best in class’ were advising & interpreting data, we were led to believe we would drill S2 last month, we were led to believe P1 was as much a certainty as it could be - go back and listen to the shareholder interviews, read the historical presentations and set them against where we are today.
As for SP claiming P1 was in any way shape or form a success - well I’m afraid it did not reach my benchmark of success or that of 99% of investors.
Seriously guys, are you happy with the feedback we have received since 8Feb ??
This company would not exist today if it wasn’t for the PIs that put their hands in their pockets for the 2p fund raising to drill P1 and we get treated like rubbish - we can be sure there’s been plenty of schmoozing and dialogue with corporate lenders and O&G companies - we have been left completely and utterly in the dark and for people to give such unqualified support to the BoD is a mystery to me.
Lots of PIs couldn’t access their shares on Friday to trade (me being one of them) this should clear out today/tomorrow
Hi Starchild
Hope all’s well
Ref point 2. I thought the end date for LO to exercise the call was the earlier date of 12/02 or Results RNS
Couldn’t have put it any better bobot
If anyone makes an investment decision based on the delivery of the presentation rather than the content, set in the context of everything else that is going on at the moment then I’d suggest they are an emotional gambler and not an investor.
Hold if you’re an investor here for the results
Sell if you’re a trader or have lost faith
there is no ‘try’ ....
Might need to check your maths Oultonmike - as much as I’d love those figures to be true :)
Hi Phojeer
Interesting post at 11:01 today, seems to contradict your post of 03/12/2020 ?? -
“I for one will invest everything I have in the first company to develop a fusion reactor, but we are at least 50 years from that tech coming along and until then nothing will supplant the fossil fuel. Literally nothing can.“
Well presented arguement Trek, can acknowledge some of the sentiment in principle ie there are a few more twists and turns in the BPC a journey prior to the Bahamas end game in whatever form that may take; however I can’t share your sentiment ref a long term trend of falling demand
https://www.iea.org/data-and-statistics/charts/world-oil-supply-and-demand-1971-2019
the figures just don’t back it up and most commentators ive seen quote rising prices and a very quick bounce back in demand post Covid plus a shortage of medium to long term identifiable reserves.
Appreciate that you’re a holder and not damping the share, just my take on it.

It’s the curse of 1951, not many of them left now !
Donegal ???
Mayo4Sam!!!
:D
Hi Bully 1985 - ref your comments on T&T royalties; from memory wasn’t there an announcement in the autumn that royalties wouldn’t kick in until POO hit $75 ?
In which case if the report uses a figure <$75barrel then it would be correct to make no accrual for royalties ??
Yup I’ve met him Titan, a couple of times - now, what was it you were promising me ??
IceMax, I won’t argue with your point ref price targets - but it’s a case that derampers will happily quote the chance of success and take it as gospel and use it for their agenda - but literally nothing else, it’s a nonsense.
Check for yourself if you don’t believe me
Interesting (& telling) rant PetroleumInvest - I still don’t know if you’re a holder or not.
Yes, I have watched plenty of videos with Eytan thanks
I understand your frustration at not being able to top slice on spud and have a free ride to drill results, can’t agree that the BoD allowing that to happen by suppressing dilution is automatically a long term good deal for shareholders. This isn’t P1 PLC, it’s a company with a diverse portfolio that needs to be funded and the BoD are seeking to mitigate the risk of being a one shot wonder at a time that funds are available to them.
You may wish to read your post of 11:48hrs 21/01/21 and take a piece of your own advice rather than throwing tantrums on here.
Hahahahaha PetroleumInvest, seriously ?? FFS I might be falling into your conniving de-ramping but I’ll engage in any case to see whether you’re a desperate deramper or a genuinely concerned shareholder.
Are you seriously throwing a tantrum here threatening to do all sorts to the BoD because they’ve raised money to drill P1 and fund CERP assets ?
1. Are you a shareholder and when did you buy ?
2. How else should they have funded the operations ?
3. As per another post on here, if you genuinely feel the BoD have been dishonest then there is a remedy via the courts - are you considering this ?
As the environmentalists have found out, you can shout as loud as you want, it’s just noise and unless it’s supported with fact is an irrelevance which may influence genuine investors from joining BPC, to their detriment.
