Short answer is that it has drifted back because on very low volume the market makers simply walked the price back to the midpoint of the spread. With no buying pressure, the price defaults to where the book is thinnest, not because of news, but because of liquidity mechanics.

MSUK you’ve managed to compress the entire AIM glossary into one paragraph, but unfortunately most of it contradicts itself.

You say it’s not volume - I disagree momentum comes from volume.without it it’s just a price twitch.

If volume is low, momentum is weak by definition.

If volume is high, momentum can build.

You can’t separate the two unless you are doing AIM voodoo.

When in doubt blame the MMs !!

They don’t move stock for fun - they respond to order flow. Order flow comes from … wait for it … VOLUME.

Price can move on small volume - CORRECT .

But not in the way you think, price moving on small volume usually means liquidity is thin, order book is shallow, and a few trades can nudge the mid price.

Sidelines - fortune cookie territory!!

Break up / break down - this is the only part that is technically true, every stock will break up break down or do nothing. So yes you have successfully predicted all the possible outcomes 🙄

But : please accept the following.

But I did read your post asking where, potentially, volume needs to be - my best guess is around 3.2 - 3.5m daily.

So, to re iterate, the support is at 4.00-4.20p with secondary support below 3.6p .

The one thing that I was confident about is that the SP has stayed stable throughout this period of low volume, which is re assuring, however it cannot continue indefinitely, and a reaction will occur, hopefully we get volume back and the SP breaks the 5p level and then shoots through the 6p barrier.

As I said yesterday, volume is the key, and needed quickly.

Ok let’s try another technical factor that everyone can relate to and see how it plays out.

Let’s watch how the volume avg over the next 5 days affects the support lines to the 200 ema.

And then how that correlates to the SP level.

Bear in mind support is set at 4.00p and is set to be tested IMHO.

Wig - I completely get what you’re saying, but I still have a problem understanding the unfounded claims that some ppl make - break out tomorrow, volume increasing, mms struggling for shares, sells listed as buys etc etc etc

MrRSoul - don’t you think it’s strange that a post that delivers facts and concise information is basically ignored, whilst posts full of hopium and false flags are liked numerous times. All I can imagine is that facts aren’t being taken account of here, which ultimately makes it dangerous for the readers and investors in IMM.

MrRSoul - the short answer is that the latest technical data shows IMM is still weak, with a downward biased technical setup. With most indicators flashing sell, despite the price stabilising around 4.3 - 4.5p.

The chart is trying to base, but momentum remains fragile with very low volume and no indication of increases.

Across ALL major moving averages (MA5 - MA200) IMM is showing sell signals.

It remains below all trend lines, meaning that the medium-term trend is still down, which aligns with the long slide down from the 19p spike.

Anyone suggesting a breakout is near has obviously not referenced the charts or trend, and is forming an opinion purely on personal factors, which is not based on any fundamental fact or technical indicators.

The word should be beware. It could go either way ! But indicators are there to help.
