I expected a poor reaction but there is a lot more to this than meets the eye. The Space set and to a lesser degree Fantasy were the poor sets in the portfolio, so glad t see us rationalise and concentrate on areas of maximum value. Ditto Madrid over Frankfurt. The profit from Madrid will dwarf everything else so far, so whilst I am not happy today, I am fine with the longterm outlook.
I agree Bennster. DC is a great deal maker and a cr*p businessman IMO. We do know (however) that there have been some very significant deals signed. Japan on a licence fee model (real possibility of a 2nd) , Madrid going very well, fees for Start Coin etc. I have no doubt there will be a huge uptick "soon" but agree that from the outside, the cashflow situation could appear to be a concern. This is why I am pleased to see the two rubbish Bricklive sets be sold rather than more dilution from JL. It's not easy watching day to day but if I had more funds, I would definitely to taking advantage of today's over reaction.
Or even a conventional loan, with no equity dilution ;-)
The new broker was due to the fact ETX pulled out of the market. Nothing more than that.
No raise required. Finance is in hand.
Every tour is profitable as all sets were paid for. Makes perfect sense to sell two of the worst ones though.
The placees were aware of an issue with the JL money but I for one am glad its not coming as it would have been a 25m share dilution. JL continues to work on other parts of the business
Its July. The RNS is wrong - spoke the COO earlier today about this!
Excellent news today. Not only do the 3 bands have over 23m followers in Instagram between them, streaming to the South American Hispanic audience could be HUGE! Anyone researching KPop would know the passion for KPop in that region!
The start of the rerate IMO
There is a very big difference between LTHs being concerned over the SP (I am one and of course I dont like seeing it at these silly levels) and commenting that people are dumping left right and center when it is clearly Bed and ISA activity rather than sells.
Bed and ISAs. Expect to see many more in the next week or so ;-)
Of course I was inside when arranging and taking the placing (and have been several times in the past) but that doesn't mean I am inside forever you fool!
I am not inside now, nor am I trading. I am fully aware of the rules and regulations.
Perhaps ponder on this? Did anyone feel there was any king of leak before the RF replacement was announced? Compare that with how our company brokers have behaved during previous placings and then decide who is being honest and fair to genuine holders!
I am not inside any more. Where have I suggested I am trading? How on earth do you jump to a conclusion that I am sharing with other shareholders?
TBH, this board is more hassle than its worth. Trying to give sensible views are drowned out by the likes of you being down on every single move and Tintin/EoA talking rubbish every day.
I'll leave it there
I was as surprised as anyone with the news announced last night. If I am "inside", so what? I am not trading nor spreading info on what I know.
@ASimple - I couldn't care less if you (or anyone else) thinks I am a trusted poster. I certainly dont consider myself a ramper either. The comments about the money being received was made in good faith on the information I was told directly. It appears that wasn't the case.
I do have info on why it wasnt received but I'll keep that to myself. I have no concerns though.
That 500k is a buy. Upward pressure is building but we probably still need to clear the remnants from Riverfort before it really flies.
Thank you Suedee5. A few do post on here from time to time but hopefully our actions will do well for ALL of us! I feel they will! I didn't do it for charitable reasons! ;-)
Agreed that the BoD really needs to start delivering. I think they have finally got the message! To be clear, I don't have full insight into why the CFO left.....just joining the dots!
Hi Rio Surfer. I have periodically spoken to DC over a number of years (and I mean actually spoken to him, unlike some of the chumps on here who claim to have done). When the RF deal was announced, I and a few others emailed in protest. DC offered to meet us virtually and we laid out our concerns. We then got together to plan to take RF out of the picture. This has taken several weeks but we are there now. I dont have a full picture of profitability and if I did, I would be inside. On the Broker's note, lets just say the departed CFO didn't appear to have done a great job all round, so it is being revisited I believe. We ( the small placing group ) also suggested it would be wasted if announced before we got rid of RF. We suggested delaying it until the new contracts could be added and RF gone would be wise. Dont blame DC and the BoD this time :-)
It has been received. We did request that it was RNSd too but apparently they are legally obliged to RNS if it hadn't been received, so it is therefore obvious to everyone that it has. I don't agree it is obvious but there you go! :-)
On another note, I hear some people talking on Telegram about having suspicions that the Company wanted the warrants tied into the shareholding and we've spun the narrative. This is categorically not true. We wanted the clause to demonstrate our commitment to the long-term vision on the Company. We wont be flipping our shares into the market!
I aloso feel it’s worth pointing out the great updates we have had since the Riverfort announcement. These should have really pushed the SP forward but didn’t because of Riverfort. They have now been taken out, so IMO, it’s a great time to buy. You can currently buy for less that the placing but that won’t be for long.
StartArt coin licence (no cost and or risk associated) at £500k per annum
JV in Japan with partner proving £630k working capital (for Japan) and a £150k licence fee
StartArt exhibition in Mexico City (with Formula E), 2 more exhibitions in Korea
Excellent operational update on Formula E in Cape town. No direct funds to LVCG via ticket sales etc but our 17% holding in E Movement undoubtedly more valuable due to the success. Mutimillion $ Headline sponsor for next year being lined up.
KPop Japan tie up with Birdman. $1m guaranteed (that alone should double the MCAP from where we are today!!!) with additional revenue tom come from merchandising, tv rights, sponsorship, and live streaming! The first $450,000 has been received as per today’s RNS
New Detroit zoo contract worth ~£250k and a further 4 month contract for Omaha early 2024 (likely to be a similar amount)
No inside news but also interesting LVCG are Tweeting again about Japan. More news to come from there?
Of course, revenue is not profit but in just those updates alone, over the last 2 months add up to ~£2m of revenue. I have no doubt LVCG will be profitable this year. That is why I was happy to add more at these ridiculously cheap levels.
Get in whilst you can
