I'm not defending him and if it goes belly up then I will think long and hard about next actions but at the moment there is hope. You ARENT HELPING! Get that into your think skull for once or we are definitely dead
I have just got off the phone to DC (he called me). He has begged Ali and Tintin to stop calling him and the NOMAD as it is not helping the cause.
We have until 2pm tomorrow to get this over the line.
FFS leave him alone until then at least!
Talk about trying to kill your own investment you clowns !!!
TinTin. I am on the phone to David right now. Leave them alone FFS !!
You and "Ali" are bombarding him with emails and calls and stopping him from trying to get this over the line.
He was literally pleading with me to help stop you from doing this.
The deadline is 2pm tomorrow and they are still trying to save it!
I REPEAT Leave them alone you idiot ! You are killing any hope we have
I haven't posted for a while as I haven't had much info to share and to be honest, I needed a break for my mental well being.
However, it seems David and Sarah are being bombarded with calls and emails all the time, most of which are abusive.
I completely understand peoples concerns / anger ( I have them both too) but seriously, does anyone really think that it's helpful? Like it or not, we are in the hands of the "DC god now"! If he gets to the stage that the hassle isn't worth it and chucks in the towel. these people haven't helped.
Please just lay off him, it's not helping any of us.
MB10 is not inside either (at the current time)
I am not inside and also pretty much in the dark. I do, however feel that not all is lost. Whilst there have been many, many mistakes made, there is no way DC is going to let this go under without a fight.
If he does try and pull a fast one, I will be alongside any shareholder action group but for now I prefer to wait and see as I do believe he is trying to create a phoenix from the ashes!
Tintin, you know nothing about me or what is happening. I've not posted anything for sometime for this very reason.
It was $150k for 2023 - potentially much bigger of we take ownership under the Lux banner now! Assuming we get our house in order of course
They had cancellation insurance, so that may cover some of the costs for not holding Sunday. It's not ideal but agree with MB10 that selling out 2 days is better than half full 3 days.
Conversely, just because something hasn't happened (yet) doesn't mean it was a lie.
Depends what you asked?
I dont believe it is within LVCG's control but agree it's absolute madness !!
17000 capacity per night
I also have some concerns about how late the artists have been announced that may affect sales but London is much more of a "KPop Hub" than Madrid I believe, so I'm still hopeful.
Madrid opening up the South American market could be huge but as many of us feel, I have been burnt before.
Finally, I don't think my numbers contradict MB10s. They are ball park similar. Actual revenues are difficult to predict because we dont know how well the VIP tickets etc will go. Both of us are definitely aligned in that if this sells well, the SP is very undervalued !! :-)
There 's been a lot of rubbish spouted on here over the last few days but some is understandable.
Firstly, I am not one of the "media individuals" who has stumped up part of the £1.25m to fund London and I don't know who they are. I do know the BoD are very excited about who is now involved. I am also pleased there wasn't a dilution either.
I also get the anxiety over London, after the (somewhat) disappointing Madrid numbers and I really don't understand the lack of pushing live streaming for Madrid either. I don't have all the answers.
However, there is an awful lot of misunderstanding about the difference between Frankfurt (Flex) and Madrid/London (Lux).
For Frankfurt, we receive a flat fee. Very little risk to LVCG. Most of this was taken by the German partners who have made a right mess of things. No real financial damage to LVCG but of course the reputation of the brand was hit.
Madrid has been and gone, so I wont spend much time going through those financials (I happen to agree they were below expectations but do believe it helped build the brand for the future).
People asking why we need £1.25 for Londo? I don't recall the exact numbers but from what I remember, we needed about £4m for the venue hire, production costs and artist fees. Also from memory, the breakeven point would be ~60% sell out.
If ( IF ) it sells out, we should make circa £2m profit, even after the interest is paid to the new investors. Fingers crossed it comes close to doing so!
I agree with you here ASimple but for the record, the Madrid Capacity for concerts is 47k. You cant have people sitting behind the stage :-)
LVCG estimations for Madrid had EUR 75k for Sponsorship and EUR 100k for Streaming. Given Kia have paid 25k for minor sponsorship and it seems Samsung are in the bag, both should be easily exceeded. The broker note targeting 11p had nothing for either of these either. 11p is very conservative IMO
Based on a P/E of 12x, just 38k streams justifies the current SP alone. Let that sink in for a moment !!!
I have been keeping track of ticket sales from when they went on sale. Whilst it is difficult to say for certain how many are left. there are currently 1435 seats currently available. There were also 1645 in the top tier left before they were removed. Therefore my best guess is that there are 3080 seats in total left.
No idea how many standing tickets are left but the stadium capacity is 47,532 and the numbers for Madrid assumed 85% capacity or 40,402 ticket sales. We cant see how many standing tickets there are left but if there were none (and of course there are some) we would be ~4000 above plan which equates to ~700k Euros extra!
Now only 2404 seats left for Madrid. No doubt this will be a huge financial success for LVCG
