Good morning most, the BOD were happy themselves with the Annual Report/Accounts and were surprised at the market reaction. However we all know the "market reaction" was a coordinated attack on SP by the horde of negheads, shorters and ghouls. RNS could have said we have special dividend of 50p and they still would have attacked.

I know a few large shareholders spoke to the company yesterday asking the BOD to consider another statement given what was happening. I believe it was taken under consideration. They may, or may not, as they consider the Report was good, as I do they could think what's the point. I hope however they do it just to show they are still in touch with PI's feelings. I wouldn't say share holders as pretty sure they know how much their own portfolio has dropped compared to most of us. Never forget that, they are the largest shareholders and want the best for themselves as well. You think for some 20 years of hard work is going to result in zilch?

All it needs is a change in sentiment and so will the SP change direction. The fundamentals are the same. The sanctions inside or outside have not affected us. what is noticeable is for quite a while they try and force the SP down with a raft of last minute sells at end of the day, usually works, but not today.........tide could be turning. I still think strongly we hit the bottom today. I really struggle to see how they can force it lower. Tomorrow will be telling..............

johndoe124 as we have Russian Subs and partnership with /State owned Rosgeo with major Russian Investors, even KPGM referred to is now a Russian company and not a member of the main organisation. Not to mention we have always had very good relationship with the /State due to our ultra green policies long before NN fecked up. So........ imo nothing to worry about.

worth pointing out the below from beginning of March RNS. For me points the fact that imo the party who did DD, and likely others, was likely from a BRICS country anyway. Well for me tells me all I need to know. Sale is still priority. There are "active" discussions ongoing. With interested "parties". If anyone think that the party who spent a lot of money, time and effort to successfully complete DD are not sill an interested party then no helping you imo.

Gordie5 would the answer "sorry, we are still subject to NDA's" be good enough. It would for me because means that the active discussions with interested parties are very much alive and that they are likely to have seen the data Room. Things are even more "delicate" than before we know that, I doubt any company, BRICS or not, wants their name out there if only because of the commercial aspect. You don't want to give rivals any info whatsoever if you can help it. Non naming of interested parties/bidders is often part of a NDA until the BOD accept one to put to the share holders. Failed bidders, or those who withdraw neither want to be named. We know one definitely has and they would be subject to NDA be it still involved or not. IMO the offer RNS will come of the blue without a hint of a leak. In it to win it.

Aubery, the context "can" is used in the sentence is every bit as positive as "will" might have been imo. But you would take the opposite view.............obviously.

Sooner or later the Annual report will be seen for what it was, bloody good! I wouldn't be surprised at all if RNS is put out by the BOD Re shenanigans. Even if not expecting some decent news BEFORE the AGM. just my opinion.

Lenoman, I thought similar, I wondered about timing of AGM at end of month as well. Convenient that the Accounts were released at the last moment as well. Could it be they were given themselves a bit of extra time to get something else done?

goingunderground always found that anybody on any of these boards that feel the need to tell all how they have "paid their mortgage", their great buy in prices and the huge profits taken on selling out, rebuying at great price, selling out repeat repeat is simply someone of very low esteem who wishes to be see as an investing guru.
