Considering the sp had been no lower than 0.75, maybe some investors will see a cut off price to buy at 2.2p. So the share price may still have a little life in it yet.
Would some investors even gamble on AMC coming through on an acquisition and we all know what a little speculation and excitement does to the market. Look at amc sp on news of regaining the licence!

I believe there is something in the pipeline that will put a smile on the shareholders faces.
But that's only my opinion. Until then, I will take my dividend and keep my holding in AMC. With the dividend I break even so I guess for me that's easier to swallow

Doesn't make sense unless this deal is going to fall through and we are stuck with no asset. Hope AMC have a new venture in the pipeline, and we get a false rise to a good rns

Either someone knows something or investors taking advantage of the low price to reduce their average cost per share. Either way it is nice to see some interest in AMC.

Kwinee, there definitely is a minimum term hold post dividend payment receipt, something like 90days but I'm not 100%sure of that. I just wasn't sure if there is a pre dividend requirement.

Is there a cut off date for acquiring shares and receiving the dividend, or is there only a restriction on how long you must hold your shares post dividend payment?

Just seen a bit of news that has really annoyed me.

Russia and China ditching the US $ and creating a new currency leveraged against the value of minerals such as gold and Nickel and other minerals.... of which AMC mine is bustling with.
So as I understand this, the potential for PI's to make a lot of money from AMC shares was very high, even higher than we may have predicted initially.
China and Russia stock piling these minerals for over 2 years now which may serve to raise their value and now, with the war and sanctions imposed against Russia, the dream of a a nice profit has slipped into the abyss.

Sorry everyone invested here, we could have a wonderful return.

Share price could go up from investors looking to make 1.8 per share in div, and then could drop on sale of greatest asset.
What the future holds after may be unknown or there is already a project in mind.

Let's hope there are a lot of investors happy with the div value and a share price of circa 9p

This was at 4:25pm... and 1.42 at 4:29pm

Setting up dummy trades to sell the last week and the sell price has slowly crept up from 1.28 to 1.45 today.

I wonder how high this will go before the vote result!

So why has the SP dropped to 1p?

Surely a sale of the mine means a profit for AMC or is the market not happy with the loss of a massive asset??

I dont believe the dilution had been that substantial to cause a drop in the share price. I did look at the numbers recently and the percentage wasn't enough to cause disappointment.

As for share price and target price for sale!? Who really knows. Only a mining company with all the info knows the true value, amur is just exploratory company and not earning from the ore and that will lower the company value

So the LME cancelled transactions on Nickel from earlier on in the day because these big financiers opened short positions and stand to lose billions!
