My impression was Shein don't do infrastructure and mostly lease what they can. Would go against that but in terms of the other roadblocks they are facing buying Boo would fit.

Administration is never out of the question. The business needs to drive up revenue per employee, cut headcount and continue to be somewhere near the front of young fashion, which it has done well despite headwinds. Filters work great on this board may I add and I see maybe 1-2 main value adding contributions and barely see any of the regulars. Until Finley gets his path set out nobody will have any idea. If you care about your exit price and have liquid keep buying, the lower the better come judgement day. I don't see the demand for products vanishing but I need to see how that supply is offered drop in cost significantly. GL.

Mike needs to make a decision here, mud flinging via PR has not worked yet and we are another release in today. If he wants the business he is welcome to buy it. I'm still in favour of a Frasers director being appointed but at this stage its disruptive. How qualified was Mike's son in law to take on Frasers I wonder, is £2m such an outrageous sum (MK working for free at this stage). Plenty of hypocrisy thrown in.

Whilst the US attempt was a mistake but was attempted across the industry, forgive me if I don't take one employee's view that it's woke not to turn up to meetings and there's no incentive for employees to pull in the same direction, there will likely be job losses there due to the change (needs to be anyway!).

It's every day as well Reardon, like the results aren't to be expected, like Dan can click his fingers and undo years of ego purchases. Every morning, on and on. Names and insults. I couldn't own a stock and let it poison me so deeply. If you're invested and underwater, we want the same thing, if you're invested and in at a good price, you want the same thing.

Anybody thinking MA and his asset stripping friend would've produced anything yet that changes this narrative is deluded. Longer time horizons needed all round.

The day after an insider has thrown what might equate to 3 years salary into the pot we have more guess work and doom mongering on here. Dan Finley has been in the role a matter of days (in reality), they are paying down the debt and Debs remains a jewel in the crown. As everything in business (and life), things don't just become rosy overnight. It will be 2-3-4 quarters to slow the losses and 2-3-4 quarters (and macro improvement) to show the small margin good work that I believe will happen.

Interesting comment here by Scott Galloway on Shein (Predictions for 2025 | Prof G Markets - youtube). IP intensive model, zero factories with huge AI input. Key part is "the plague on retail - returns". Definitely a difficult global environment to compete in for BOO and the like going forward.

They ARE shareholders. Some odd conspiracies going about on this board at times. Imagine running a company not to make money but to intentionally rob shareholders whilst also being one. Whatever happens all the best and lets hope 2025 is full of wise moves and increases in margin.

MA is not walking away. He wants DEBS and believes he can get it on the cheap. If he gets in I'd imagine he'll brief against the current BoD and become the saviour. If not he will make a poor offer. Best to have a bit of both involved the emotional investment of Kamani and the bull in a china shop approach MA brings. iParsnip my position has not changed in as much as this is undervalued and the upside is on the way, but probably on a longer timescale than most are prepared to wait. My average is 52 atm and coming down.

Everything people go on about has been addressed in one way or another. Reduction in workforce, selling of assets/vanity projects, new CEO, America supply chain slammed into reverse, director buys, focussed minds as Ashley sits on the sidelines. If you don't think Ashley wants this at 27p so he can make his likely low ball offer look more appealing then I'm not sure what to say. People do silly things when desperate and there's a few impatient and desperate people on this board probably deep underwater. My position this year has not changed, reduce my average and let the noise be just that.

Look at longer timelines 1m-3m and its positive, things don't move in a straight line. What is the worst possible outcome you speak of? Extremely negative commentary from you Iparsnip. Just let things take their course.

My worry is if the current BoD are not interested in the slightest in giving their business over to somebody who they feel presents real risk of a break up/re-alignment, can they take their ball home and we are worse off? Can they sell it off to a family member for nix or delist? The effort and narrative change over the last 2-3 months suggest they are fighting as hard against this. We've had mediated meetings between Ashley and the board before and Ashley put a proposition in on the friday to be accepted by monday AM. Hardly somebody determined to favour good working relationships.

Alternatively appoint somebody they all get along with and can work with if Ashley wants a peek inside. Not sure how that works though. The video is sharp and is Boohoo looking relevant and classy.

MA is already having the intending impact for shareholders by focusing the current BoD into improving outcomes. He doesn't need to be brought into the hen house to improve value for shareholders. I see Frasers haven't necessarily lit the world alight also.

Whatever happens here is benefiting us I reckon.

The 31p offering was criticised but I'm sure many will be over the moon now. Short time frame. Debs holding up the rest. Undervalued as just about everybody involved has said.
