The last FOSO project I worked on was 180000 barrels per day (a tanker conversion for Brazil) so no problem to get an additional FPSO to take us from 55k-200k
I think we have plenty of acreage to Explore already (KON-11,12 and 16 the latter as operator).
Great find Mogger and thank you.
Nice one and thank you Nn
Agree with Pre2 :”Previous roles have mostly been about the planning / administration of the potential project. ”
Looks like as far as FIG are concerned the project is moving ahead as planned (by Navitas).

Hi Ed.
Thank you so much for taking time posting.
The Tobias field being a naturally fractured carbonate system might explain the recharge as oil can move more freely back up the fractures (forcing water down) than it would in a normal sandstone reservoir. I don’t think I have ever heard of recharge of sandstone reservoirs. What do you think?

Well said. Please please up the good work Ed.

I don’t think we have to if other finance is available at better terms like RBL for oilfield development
Sans thank you for taking time to write and post the summary

Lol…Prion25
You are calling this “research”? You must be a primary school drop-out! Stop this rubbish and get back to school!!

Totally agree. The rig was the hurdle….now solved.

Couldn’t agree more. Watch this video!

I strongly disagree with what you are saying. Jeremy Asher has put in more effort and money than anyone could expect him to. Covid and Saudi Arabias rig grab you cannot blame him for although very frustrating.
Better times around the corner I honestly believe.

Luke1 Thank you and thank you for the invite. I will have to set myself up with Insta then first (bit old fashioned with only Facebook at the moment).
Just a 0.1% holder for now but will probably buy some more next dip.
Kind regards
N
Mcfcnige, thank you so much.
Also thanks for the info on the possibility of direct negotiations.

“Angola’s upstream regulator, ANPG, will now assess the offers and finalise its preferred bidders by the end of the year, with results to be unveiled in mid-January after which some two months of negotiations will take place
Bidders included Afentra, Apex, Corcel, Etu Energias, Serinus Energy, Simples Oil, Sonangol and Tusker Energy. Other interested parties are 5C Oil & Gas, Ace Consults, Acrep, ANM Energy, Quimenergy, Effimax Energy, Enagol, Gesp Energy, Index Petrolube, Intank Group, Kebo Energy, Monka Oil, Soconinfa, Transoceanic Group, Walcot Group and Whazwimi Investment Holding.”
Finally bought some on Friday after staying on the sidelines for a long time. For the same reasons I like RKH and TRP, but closer to some action. 12 million barrels which at least should be worth $5/barrel in ground fully appraised/tested as the development, production costs and tax relief are all favourable.
Here is hoping
