With out wanting to give it too much credence, the 2m in 500k chunks sat on the ask for several weeks has vanished this morning, maybe it will come back...maybe it was them selling last week....who knows. But they arnt there atm.

The DFS is the bfs, it has to be, by -definition it's the final FS, so must be the BFS.

Yes but the Franco deal was completely different, it was only really conditional on due dilly and we would need 20-30 such sized deals...
The streaming will be conditional on the dfs and the rest of the money.
The bonds probably just the dfs as they will likely be convertible on default, so they have the resource and company as collateral. The royalty will be different again and probably metal specific.
The point though is the funding will likely be available at different stages and different conditions, it won't really be a single package for something this large, unless we get a JV.

Tbh i am not sure who started using CFP on here, it might even have been solg, but it's a nonsense term, as no finance package is just released in full on a conditional basis.
It will be a serious of announcements that make up the finance package...The last one will likely be any share issue. The conditions will be different for different components.
My guess would be part 1 streaming, part 2 royalty, part 3 bonds, part 4 equity. But that's just a total guess. None of these can be released until the PFS is finalised ,even conditionally. I am not expecting the PFS until March/April (although it would be nice sooner) and so may June for any conditional cap ex funding.

I am not being down, as I think the SP will go up considerably this qtr, this month, but if expectations arnt set we end up with the moaning crew complaining that x,y,a hasn't happened..

On wed and Thurs all markets makers on both bid and ask, were within .3-.4p of each other...I have never know such a tight market maker spread on Solg. For comparison it's often more like 3p spread.for bid and 3p spread for ask...

My guess would be both a rights issue and an open offer....for some light reading I would suggest folks read about rights issues and tradeable rights.....i.e you can sell you right to buy a share. This makes is easier for somebody to take a larger chunk and makes it more likely that solg will raise the finance...

For this coming week, the market is crying out for an update, it's as perfectly primed as it could be. I also have no doubt at all that we will get some excellent news which will give us all something to talk about in the next few days...

They have just over 19m shares, or just under 1%.
The bod and employees have 4% of so of the issues shares in options.

I am of mixed opinion on it, I get what your saying but buy and sell were pretty even..it could even have been over maybe 2 days considering there was only 1.5-1.8m buys it would have taken 50% of the entire buy market. Equally as you say the price ended positive....if it were a sell the demand is good for the stArt of 2021, if a buy that bodes well, it would only be a problem if the share price had taken a 2-3% hit...

Calm down and take a chill pill, Nobody is attacking ggp, we are just pointing out what tbtt said concerning ggp and how it was BS and doubly wrong when applied to solg. If you want us to bash ggp we can but nobody is.....it was a ggp cheerleading champion that raise the company.

Could not agree more CD, hole 4 (first drill from the 2nd pad) should be at about 1300m by monday....if as we expect it's the glory hole, then folks should hold on to their hats.....They might even have prioritised assays from say the first 400-500m to support it.

100% agree with this addict, it's the reason why I am so conservative in shares...we've had a pandemic, govts borrowing like f. Bitcoin eff shooting up, stock markets at or near record highs...it's the clearest liquidity boom since the railroad days. It's also utterly unsustainable. The voters can't be squeezed any more so companies will be imo...
Whatever folks views of me are...I hope, I really hope they protect their capital and don't sit on top of a ballon....

It doesn't involve speculation it comes down to the very essence of what the company will do next.
The company will plan for the most likely outcome,plan A, then have a plan b, if that doesn't occur.
If you now except that the specials being passed was always unlikely, as it depended on newcrest or CGP voting for them, then plan A will involve the specials not being passed. The company will still be on plan A, as everything that happened at the AGM was always likely to happen and was likely to happen ever since the AGM was called.
I am sure they also had a plan if the specials were passed, however unlikely that was,but it wouldn't have been plan A.

None of this is really interesting, but the company will be on plan A still.....

I honestly see know reason why pride even personality is involved. That’s Warren speak imo. Warren and cgp want to maximise the price of their shares for the liquidity they have nick wants to do the same. Newcrest and bhp want as much copper and gold as cheaply as possible. Personality is irrelevant

The simple answer is, I don't know and i don't need to know, its kind of a distraction. The truth in that SOLG would not, in a million years have expected CGP to vote with them, nor Newcrest who removed their director in a huff. The BOD would certainly have planned and expected it as i said. There is no logical reason to expect otherwise. So therefore the BOD will have planned for the specials to have been defeated. the Hannam note says pretty much the same. it was expected.
