An update on the alpala committee.
An update on exploration.
An update on the hannam article 're change of design.
An update on the BHP newcrest partnership.
An update on anything to be honest.

If there is no update my patience will be wearing thin and I will contact Elise, Jason, Into making my thoughts known...
I don't support the company at whatever cost but do think they are doing things very well so far.

Latiffe, sorry if been busy for awhile. To answer, if the Franco deal was so bad for shareholders then it must have been good for franco. If it's good for franco then why not BHP...why don't BHP offer 50m for a half percent royalty? They won't of course..but they can hardly argue in good faith that the deal is bad for solg but then refuse to do it themselves.

In my opinion the point was that Franco and solg together can frighten BHP, Franco is a £15bn company from memory.

The bigger point imo, is that solg is surrounded by multi billion companies, be they Franco, the Chinese companies, Newcrest, BHP...They are all serious contenders and all of them are competitors. A merry dance of people who maybe arnt frightened but are certainly weary of each other.went

There was talk yesterday about blackrock, who as far as we know have only ever been supportive of solg and nick...to the point were when I contacted them back in the summer they were not amused to be mentioned by CGP and CGP never never mentioned them again.

Again just imo but all Nick is saying in the article, is that he will communicate with them and offer them any chances i.e before taking the Franco money give them the chance to contribute the £50m, if they don't want to be uses Franco...

I am fully aware, a PE fund normally has hundreds of participants acting in a partnership. This has 2. One the investment arm of the Chinese govt and one a copper arm of the Chinese govt. Many countries don't like or even allow direct Chinese govt investment hence the investment has been put into a "independent" investment company. It's like the middle eastern private equity funds. They are govt controlled and backed funds. Nothing like the funds you comparing with them with.

It’s rather bizarre that some folks want to twist everything. All he’s said he that he wants to work with everybody. He’s right to say this. And some folks come on about embarrassment, appallingly managed etc etc.

Nick doesn't have a mine plan..it's independently created, it's funny that you think the mine plan is Nick's, the funding is Nick's etc.

I really don't care too much the strategy as long as Nick doesn t portray us as easy pray. It will be really interesting what we do with franco. There is a brief window here for BHP and newcrest to show some support...I wonder if they will and what form it will take?

That afr report is interesting, as it's the unofficial mouthpiece of newcrest. I do wonder whether sold has already made up with BHP at least and maybe mending a few bridges with newcrest.
There is no doubt that porvenir adds another dimension to the company and maybe now they are looking point at alpala as the larger more difficult project which they can JV with.....

Happy with that it was very likely from the looks of L2 at 8.30 this morning. 2p in a day in a decent rise though and with news to come...:)

All the market maker s sat with just a .2p spread. They will move as one up and down, which will massively help any rise. Nobody wants to be an outlier.. :)
