Just imo.
It's useful to judge what the share is actually doing, so I will follow a share before buying and ditto timing for selling.
I ve spent periods of time without it, without ill effect.
Since I will sell after the testing at some point it will help me get what I hope is a good price.is
For panr with L2 you can see Farallon (I strongly suspect) placing on the ask 50000 @. 42.25, which gets taken out then another 50000@42.25, then another. I. Can see them selling into a rise with volume, but they don't seem to actively push the share down.
I've said before North slope is one of the few things I trade, mostly its long term investing on fundamentals.
The reverse is true 're somebody big taking a position, which can be seen on L2. If I've got a long held inveztment, it might tempt me to buy a few more.
At the end of day, with just the 88e trading I did between .5 and 1.5 it paid for itself. The rest is just information. Tb h i couldn't imagine not knowing whether there is just 4 market makers on a book, or whether there are 400 entries on the book.
