With Due respect, if this is true, your exactly the person i mentioned in my previous post. You brought in post placement, hoped for a return on a trade when the news came in and have sold at exactly the point the market makers want you to at a loss. That is no way to make money on resource stocks.

Hydrogen, your talking BS as usual. There was nothing misleading about hole 1, it was advertised as down the throat of a finger porphyry from last year.
Open pit is essentially the existing JORC area, nobody is talking about open pit down to 800-900m. Look up the likes of Northparkes, where they open pit the top section then use other methods further down.

Just imo, but the market's c*** at the moment and folks will sell on any news, whether we hit twice the amount of copper or not. A few traders are bit annoyed, they probably brought in after the placing hoping to make a bit of money when the assays came in and its ended bad for them.

Again just IMO, but shares are similar to their deposits.
If its risky and high grades - the share will be risky with peaks and troughs.
If its low risk and sensible - the share will be low risk, if you buy in and hold for the longer term.
I will always pick the low risk and sensible - but thats me and i know everybody is different.

Joe, a valid question. i did say might be and also it was dependent on 5and 6being replicated by 1,2 and 3. On the side diagram, holes 4 and 5 have red areas - indicating expected mineralisation on the second porphyry. I've actually just assumed that 5 and 6 are still .2 to .25 average, however they should in some way mirror the first porphyry so might be higher. we can see from the model have much extension there has been etc. It is a guess though.

I think the important fact that folks re missing is that the current JORC, which is high calibre and done by Anglo America, says that the small - probably open pit area contains $3bn of copper. we are talking about extending that all the way to $20bn of copper if the 2MT is reached, even if the 1MT is reached with just the two finger porphyries that must be between $5bn and $10bn tonnes of copper.
Its inconcieviable that this much copper will not be mined in Australia.

so we had a JORC as 71Mt @ 0.44% Cu. = .3Mt
If 1-2-3 are replicated by expectations in 5 and 6, along with the second porphyry finger with we might have an additional
280Mt@ .24% Cu so around .7Mt around maybe 1MT of copper so far with them both added together.
Further expansion of the new targets on IP and continued expansion of the existing porphyry's should more than phase 1 will, so 2MT is certainly acheiveable.

However even 1MT of copper which is what we likely have already would be the second biggest copper deposit in the Lachlan fold second only to Cadia.
There is also the scope that holes 5 and 6 might contain copper grades of between .3 and .4.

RB, Have a look over at Solg's new open pit deposit on the cascabel license. News released earlier this week.
most of the copper grades are between .2 and .3%,. Its not a direct comparison so allow for the far more expensive and risky operations in Ecuador and its easy to see that even lower grade copper, in the safest(risk wise) mining place on earth will be attractive.

well he's delivered the first 2 holes in a batch as per expectations - although later than we thought, IMO it was purely a lab wait issue.
lengths and grades are good enough - some will complain about the grades, but google the just starting dispute between chile and BHP and you will see why they will still get mined.
The drills are further out than I thought - 350-450m extension to the existing JORC NW and probably in other directions as well. so we are already considerably up on JORC tonnage.
Also the existence of the secondary finger now showing up on graphics (none of which is in the existing JORC).
IMO beyond the new finger is the larger geo/fault feature.

Just for a bit of research I contacted two large drill assay labs in western australia. I basically said I needed an idea of timescales for planning purposes. One lab came back and said they couldnt answer that as they had no availability for the rest of the year. Another quotes a 12 week wait to prepare the material.
We just have to wait for when it comes....

As are arcm, ccz down 15%, ars down 10% etc.
We 're down 27% ish,but have had quite a big placing.

I agree that the market is impatient but most of it is either wider market or placing related imo.

CE, the warrants wouldn't even start to be executable unless the SP rises 65% or so from today's price, in reality it's would be nearer 80% before they start to executed due to profit margins spread etc.
I am not worried about a potential short term drag if the SP is at 9p-10p.
That's like worrying about how much tax you would pay if you made a million pounds...

Steve it doesn't have to be independent, however it almost certainly will be. The skills required, software etc is such that even midcaps would normally go to specialists.
There is no set distance, number of drills etc, the approach to the jorc is around probability and confidence. The person producing the report(signing it off) must have 5 year geological experience as a bare minimum in that type of deposit. If they get it wrong then in theory they could lose all their official status.
Any data can be used but it's about confidence in the type\shqpe\location\mineralisation and grade.

Normally -the vast majority of the time, it starts as open pit and then progresses 10 years etc , down the line to underground.
I really don't see why bushranger would go against this norm...(I've said this several times).
So of course if they are looking at potential pea\mining options this is what they will cap ex for first. It's what I would cap ex for first (my finger in the estimate is about 100-150m).
Getting an initial cap ex IRR npv is fantastic and will massively raise awareness, particularly when it comes out near the end of year with massive jorc.

seems like folks are reading tea leaves to me....xxx had happened so yyyy might be the reason, if we assume the tea leaves in the bottom of the cup are in an S shape then the assays must be bad....
Let's ignore the funds raised. The 15-20k metres that are to be drilled in phase 2, the existing grades from the JORC. The IP survey. The drill information released so far. The assays already released for drill 1 and the extra copper in the new 300-500m.

With multiple higher zones etc. If the current drilling has .1-.3 in the outer zones it bodes very well for other areas.imo

The 2mt was just winus initial jorc, it looks to be twice that size in non jorc drilling so far.

Maybe steve, Colin seems nervous that the market won't understand the grades...imo he doesn't need to be as quality will out.
I would urge him to keep comparing it to winu.

This is NOT northparkes or BODA imo and there was something glaring obvious in the mapping -
IMO its was probably this which encouraged Colin to buy more shares and if he was being flexible with the results allowed the placing to go as smoothly as it did, in such sticky hands.
The results of the assays will be anticipated now.
