Pal I’m the same as you but I know for certain that this is NOT a bad move just a move that’s going to take a lot longer than you or I both thought from when the great news started flowing e.g. MOD etc. I’m bitterly disappointed with the BB as I’m sure most are as clearly the PI”s, currently, are in fact worse off than they were before because Arden have spent that money, earning their commissions along the way and the SP has declined; I’d rather either a bit more openness about why they were doing it or have a divi at least we could all have had a pint and pack of crisps !! Look as it stands no debt, money in bank, money coming in with divis, assets galore, Cobre, KML( although this seems v v quiet are the assays overdue anyone), SFR, Thailand, Spain, South America X3 etc etc
I mean all this has been funded by all us PI”s and T Grammar is no doubt one of the best; before I get slaughtered for yesterday comments about his monetary beneficiary in the buyback he is still the main man for MTR and he got Cobre!! If it drops to 1.10 then I’m raiding my money pot and if it doesn’t I’ll sit here and wait with gritted teeth !

Your an extremely balanced poster on here; have you any thoughts on why we have persistent selling when all the indicators are that MTR should be coming into its own in a big way ?

Thanks for that but I’m sure you see what I’m saying here; if the BOD had said we are going to do a tidying up exercise etc then fair enough; you yourself said do you think a buyback or a divi was preferable I think from memory; I’m just a tad irritated as all that money, commission for Arden etc has not really benefited PI”s at present I feel. I maybe wrong but I’ve been here just over 3 years, investment is in negative figures, KML COBRE etc etc and yet the value of my investment is still declining when the board announced an exercise to what I thought would actually increase the value of my holding and decrease my loss.
