It's a funny ol' game.16 May 2023 11:30
CNA this morning came within a whisper of what I deemed my complete exit price (120p). As usual with the SP advancing of late I'm reluctant to sell what is left of my original holding. The trend is your friend and all that.
This scenario is not unlike several Lloyds holders comments here. Comments like, can't wait to sell up when this reaches 50+, 51, 52, 53p. But of course there has been ample opportunity to exit LBG at these figures with a year high price of 54.3p.
I must add, I'm fairly disciplined in setting buy and sell prices and have missed many entry opportunities in the past, but I've always said, never be frightened to take a profit. It's not a problem for my current CNA holding as I've taken good profit on the way up.
This market seems to be waiting for the next uplift or disaster, too many uncertainties, but wtfdik.
Just musing on a bit this morning.
