DT, regarding your response mentioning #2 and #3 I can only refer you to look at #1. Just to remind you, #1 was - at this moment in time it's not going to happen.
Who on earth would "keep records regarding subjects/topics posted"? To what end? I just read/skip through here and take it in, not every day but you get a feel for who's posting what and usually their style etc. You should try it sometime instead of grabbing headlines/one liners from 'here and there' post after post because some of your comments are worthy of investigation/debate. That after all, is why we are all here, isn't it?.

DT, you're right, the topic of consolidation has been mentioned previously on the this bb probably many times in the past. However I believe I'm right in thinking that it was raised by you for the first time this year and presented as another detriment to Lloy.
There is no counter argument from me because (1) at this moment in time it's not going to happen (2) I don't care about it either way and (3) if investors are not comfortable with any proposals they will have plenty of time to exit.
Lloyds being one of the big six are well covered by all media outlets some of which are reported and discussed on here. Like most shares activity/interest on these BB's only increases around the time of results, AGM's, management statements and company announcements, the rest is just hot air and speculation. I would put consolidated into the last category.

Pippa, the other half has taken a liking to the relatively new Lexus UX. Being a self charging hybrid, she's trying to do her bit for the planet, as with most things green its not so good on my wallet.

Sounds good trying to rebalance the banking sector, encouraging the 'minnows' as it's been fashionable to knock the big six, but inevitably any interference from government tends to have a negative effect across the board, just saying.

Theosus, I'm thinking whenever regulators get involved in any sector it usually ends up with the company's suffering and not always for the good of the consumer.
Not sure what's involved with 'smaller' bank's vs 'larger' bank's what's the difference, and where is the cut off point between the two?

Valuation today is short of £140m, post consolidated there will be less than 140m issued shares. Theoretically that makes an SP of c100p, but without an additional £140m on the balance sheet. I guess it's up to investors/demand to decide how much this cash injection is worth.
I don't think its as simple as, say 12p x 15 = 180p
but WTFDIK (not a lot).

Probably because I have no saga holding with them, I'm invested through another platform where they clearly state "there's no excess application facility on this offer."
