Yes, that's a big increase in a short space of time but it was I believe starting at an all time unprecedented low.
As for MMT, there were plenty of warnings at the outset but the current inflation is being blamed entirely on Ukraine/raw material costs. No mention of so-called money printing.
As I've said before my knowledge of the finer points of all this is quite limited.

As for the actual daily/weekly figures, probably better to wait for the official running total, that's updated periodically. That way you won't have to alter your own ongoing records. (^_^)
But I guess now you've started you'll want to see it through. Rather you than me though, there's some way to go yet.
