The next focusIR Investor Webinar takes places on 14th May with guest speakers from Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund. Please register here.
So Paddy’s point can be read differently by each investor here.
If we all believe in the fundamentals still then averaging down is a legitimate investment strategy’ I believe that’s the ‘read’’ inferred. But not provocatively @JBUK.
For anyone with the means to lower their high entry point the opportunity is now. We need balls of steel as PIs but seizing the chance to reduce the average is a sound strategy - if you can.
And patience - sitting on hands - means we can now do do. More patience still needed though.
Not investment advice, just pushing back on the evident disapproval of a certain poster.
Difficult times but keep the faith.

Now listen MMs. I’m letting you in to a badly kept secret.
GGP has a BG chunk of gold and copper
GGP is fully funded (and some) to production
GGP has broker notes double or treble where we are currently
GGP has plans for an Aus cross-listing
GGP has cornerstone institutional investors
GGP has new BOD directors to make any AIM share look flimsy by comparison
GGP has a generational foundation asset that is widely touted as 20M Oz (by the GGP MD FYI)
GGP is in partnership with a major that has deep mining expertise (which we need)
GGP has precious metals being touted such as Nickel and Mollyblobbapendulum (not a geo)
GGP has a loyal PI base that ain’t going anywhere fast
GGP has an MD that knows where we are headed and has thumbed his nose (ok, not ideal but why not) at a major
GGP has new MMs signed up
GGP us liked by Sprott
GGP is in the GDXJ shakeup
GGP’s HAV is referenced by the whole mining world
GGP might well go for inorganic growth that means.....M&A

Erm, anything I’ve forgotten GGPers. Over to you.....

OK MMs, you were told yesterday that you need to mark this share up to reflect the stunning outcomes delivered by Shaun. You need to up this by 25-30% to make a fair market.
Other shares have been marked up by you on far less impressive company news by 5is %.
And before anybody mutters on about DTM, FS, etc being required first I would just remind us all what a stellar piece of finance raising Shaun pulled off plus his recruitment of the top suits in Oz. This alone would have bolstered any other share.
Come on MMs, make a fair market.
You are being watched ....
Thanks to everyone that was able to come - these events only work because people can attend. Special thanks to Liam for travelling and working so hard for us all, Bamps for his erudition and insights. For those that couldn’t make this one have no fear, we will be doing another post NCM and/or GGP results in late Oct/early Nov
Will be great to see you both Mark, we always have a good and varied group- never the same each time, and the term Stroud Gang doesn’t mean to suggest it’s a fixed group of people.
In fact the only thing fixed is the location I.e.Stroud

Hi Cazbaz
No worries, maybe there’ll be another occasion soon.
I’ll let people know if there will be any future collaboration between Liam and Bamps. These things are so much easier to sort out when together in person:)

This Sunday we have another valued GGP poster joining BottleRocket (Liam) and other loyal GGPers. Bamps is now joining us which is super news. The next set of GGP results should be out by then and Bamps will give us some insights with Liam.
The meeting is on Sunday 11 September at the Fromebridge Mill pub, Fromebridge Lane, Whitminster, GL2 7PB. It’s easy by car. Take the exit for M5 Stroud Junction 13 and it’s about 3 minutes from the motorway exit. It’s handy for those in the south Mids, Bristol, S Wales,
Plan is :
Arrive whenever you want, grab a drink, have a natter. We have a private
room to avoid the busy Sunday lunch trade. It’s designed to be a fluid and friendly get-together. Beer and food available to buy of course - it’s a pub !
Please confirm if you’re coming , and how many, by replying by e mail. I’ll only get to e mails a couple of times a day so don’t be concerned if you don’t get an instant acknowledgement. TheDoors2022@outlook.com
NB if you say you are coming on the chat board I will probably miss it !
Hope to see you there
Very happy to share the news that Liam (BottleRocket) is joining GGP investors for a Sunday afternoon gathering. The next set of GGP results should be out by then and we have lots to talk about besides.

Yes Bamps, agree that the return of the first degree fudsters and rudies is yet the latest in the slights and insults bestowed upon this board
Some returning posters whose inglorious pasts will never be forgotten
Rest assured good GGP people, we are better now they are here rather perversely. It’s our turn to endure their baloney so we should all take the line that we will proactively disagree each time they write poop
A simple “I disagree with xxx” is a powerful yet simple voice.so please do exercise your ‘voice’ on this board when you can
Simple. Free. Powerful
I am Spartacus
Post “I disagree with xxx” and we will all see the strength of this group usefully mobilised
Love you all (except the fudsters)

I’ve always struggled with the whole ‘on loan’, ‘shorted’, ‘long’ thing for a long time and could never grip or grasp it. I felt a bit stupid actually but took the view that if I couldn’t follow it surely it was beyond understanding. Is it Buffett that recommends only buying into stuff you understand? Well given I’m fully in to GGP I took the next best available view - don’t try to understand it if if after 29 attempts it still doesn’t add up.
Not being wise after the fact, just being honest.
So what I do understand and am working on as a basis is that someone wants a stake in GGP and this has been an exercise to use that money to buy-sell-buy-sell to loosen our PI grip. Which has paid off.
Overall I reckon we have to be at the bottom now and we’ve lanced the boil. How the boil came to exist in the first place is some kind of ‘infection theory’ that results in an explosion of pus at some point. Caused by something impure in the blood stream.
I reckon we have reached that explosion stage and the boil is mostly lanced now. We have a bit of cleaning up to do lol. That’s what SD has done which has taken some of the lustre off his halo, but Surgeon Shaun has now done the messy unpopular thing and is now on to the post-operative recovery stage.

LTH since 2017 but under water like most now, but
We’ve been saying for a while that there will be bumps along the road. Here’s one of them.
We’ve been saying for a while that once the 5% was sorted we’ll be able to move on. Here we are.
We’ve been saying for a while we need II’s. Here they come.
We’ve been saying for a while we need forward funding. This is a chunk of it.
We’ve been saying for a while dilution will come. Shaun said it was a possibility together with other sources. Here it is.
We’ve been saying for a while that Shaun needs to find a way to outflank the shorters. Possibly this is it.
We’ve been saying recently directors need to buy once they are out of the closed period. Tick
So far we’ve predicted pretty much everything except the 5% polite but pointed ‘no thanks’.
But we don’t really like the raise because:
We didn’t know the capital raise discount would be 15% off a low SP to start with. That is hard to take, but it’s done and I suspect we’ll be oversubscribed
We can’t see yet what else SD has in the pipeline. Butt we are now coming closer to the other things we’ve been saying like more gold, more II funding, and whatever else the mercurial SD is holding in his poker hand. He is saying that we should feel confident.
I’m hacked off like everyone else but I’ve had a word with myself and reminded myself of all the things we’ve been telling ourselves for a while, so I can’t be surprised.
And I’ve been saying for a while that we don’t know how this type of journey works because we are novices, even those that claim to know. It’s different for every company. So why would we expect to know or predict with accuracy? We should be good to ourselves - we are still learning how this corporate game of musical chairs and charades plays out. We ought to forgive ourselves for not knowing the unknown unknowns.
I’m being reflective rather than judgemental. No words of encouragement, despond or disaster.
Please keep well
