Hi gang,
Just to say that each time we are put under pressure, hassled, muted, or generally treated with disdain we just need to stay classy.
We win when we present facts, informed thoughts, logical questions, and provide market information about GGP.
We also win when we get interviews direct from the MD. That’s classy also.
When the GGP share price is under attack it’s a sign the end is close, the end of the shenanigans.
Hard to truly enjoy these days but ignore all the noise and act like you’re Penelope Keith :)
Dear Admin,
Thank you for your prompt response in a direct message to one of my points and for deleting my previous polite note (which seems harsh).
Would it be possible to post directly to this board as courteously requested with answers to my other points? I share again my original note below for the benefit of others who can’t see the previously deleted, and courteous, note of mine:
@LSEAdmin
Dear Admin,
We appear to find ourselves once again in a situation where posts and threads are being removed. Please advise the basis of these bans and whether permanent or temporary.
Second, this GGP chat board is largely self-managed, so when our share price comes under attack we do have cause to raise questions. The optics of you banning posters in the midst of this assault are not favourable for you.
Third, the research and contributions of posters on here is surely the gold standard across all your boards (pun intended) If the content of those researched posts troubles you then perhaps it will look to many like a form of censorship - even unintentionally.
In summary can we please be given an update (posted here) about what the decision is, the basis of your decision, and that making the board open for business is sincerely your aim.
Much appreciated

Listened on the drive to work. Well done Liam for securing Shaun’s time and for Shaun in speaking to us all directly.
Oh how I wish I could:
- be a fly on the wall in the geo meetings
- be a mozzy on the door of GGP HQ when they are discussing the scale of the future and how to protect Hav from buyout
- be a wasp on the window in the NCM meetings to hear about bulk mining
- be a gnat on the sideboard in the site office when they are looking at where to pin a drill bit on Scally
- be a bee in the room when Shaun is busily calculating the CAGR on the flip chart
- be 5 years in the future to know how rich I’ll be
And if there’s a vote for the new indigenous name for Hav, how about something that equates to “making us with flat hands very rich” ?

Reposting as I missed an important detail - it’s Winston Churchill who said it !
“The truth is incontrovertible. malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is”
Sorted. Sleep easy GGPers. Our truth is incontrovertible
He’s not everybody’s up if tea but I look at some of his quotes and smile - this one speaks so well to our current situation on this board, and also to GGP’s truth overall:-
“The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.”
Sorted. Sleep easy GGPers. The truth is incontrovertible.
The word that has, for some reason, been running through my mind this week re GGP is friction. I looked up the meaning of friction and found, amongst others, this definition:
‘The resistance that one surface or object encounters when moving over another.’
“So what’s that got to do with GGP and our current deflated SP?” called the investor impatiently from the stalls.
Well it fits in a number of ways right now IMO:
- the type caused by NCM and GGP moving over one another to reach agreement on the value of 5%
- the type caused by the surface plates of the economic system rubbing against each other and generating a painful grating sound
- the surface that we all thought was SP-bottom rubbing against our aspirational SP levels
- our understanding about how markets are supposed to work grating against the real world shenanigans of the markets
- and the scraping of our minds caused by our hopes and dreams seeming further away from being reality as we reschedule our time horizons
But then I console myself with the positive friction at Hav, or about Hav:-
- the noise created by a fast moving decline cracking through the rock
- the cutting through virgin rock of the drilling programme in the Eastern and SE sections
- the pull and push of negotiators grappling with the data causing their various brains to heat up as they hope to agree
- the independent assessor of FMV dragging NCM towards the GGP value
- the grating teeth of Sandeep as he comes to terms with the vast plumes of gold and copper below the surface
- the market makers heaving this way and that to fill invisible requirements from those who want to rub GGP up the wrong way
- the shorters grinding away to not lose money
And how do we all respond as GGPers?
- with a Teflon Shaun
- with ceramic PIs
- with lubrication generated by reminders of what is really possible based on GGP’s own RNSs, charts, maps, and published info
This is a great company with friction all around. The time will come again when we are all fully oiled, lubricated, and moving freely out of the madness and towards easier times.

And there I was congratulating myself yesterday on getting in at 12.498 or whatever.
The only person I need to mollify isn’t myself as I know the Cu/Au is still there. My other half though….
The trick right now is to accept what you can’t directly control e.g. weather, SP, global tensions, football results, and just live the tantric life that Sting once spoke of where the rewards are delayed but coming (so to speak ;) )

I delved in to the Old English Anagram book I use occasionally to decipher the posting names of some on here. Interestingly Sharky Bruce converts to :
Basher cruyk.
Oh how these old books are worth holding on to.
Lol
Well after failing to get 12.6 yesterday I grabbed 12.498 for a couple of £k today. I had promised to keep it back for 5% day but this price is a steal by itself.
WRT disruptors on this board it compares to the unwelcome problem of rats in my garden. The rat man told me they arrive to pick up free food dropping from the bird feeder. But we now have baited traps to deal with them. Remind you of our board disruptors? They come then they go, so keep the faith. Horrible to have them but great to know the end is in sight.

All this talk of Freddie and Tymers...no idea what you’re referring to !
I use a thing called the ‘filter’ button and it is so great. Highly recommend it.
We said earlier today that none of the silent majority are going anywhere until full value, so be kind to yourselves and filter the ones that irritate. After all, nobody’s planning to sell in the LTH group so there’s no point in squabbling with people you don’t need to read in the first place.
Peace and love man. Peace and love. All thanks to the filter ;)
@0ldproff
I have a mental picture of hundreds of (mostly) silver haired - me included - folk sitting in our comfy chairs of an evening swirling a small libation around our mouths, smiling sagely at the prospect of better times ahead. And secretly, yes silently, knowing we are part of a big gang.
And when we get to a decent SP the sound of champagne corks popping across the land, Lamborghini showrooms being inundated, and parties like 1999 breaking our noble silence. Then the majority will no longer be silent ;)
Good luck Proff.
Everyone’s entitled to their view Sharky, even you.
But having elicited the stories from background investors (incl their declared holdings) the bit that stood out for me and is clearly making fudsters work harder is this.
Nobody’s going anywhere with their shares. Everyone is hanging in there until full value. We’ll all be adding too. Soaking up recycled shares to boost our individual pots. Until the end. So if you take the total holding details with a pinch of pepper, the loud and clear message is that hundreds of investors are not going to be disturbed by niggly, nurdling 1p a post numbskulls.
Oh yes, the silent army has spoken and it is making lots of watchers very hot and bothered.
Mwahahahah
The slow and steady, quiet, patient, and unspectacular accumulation by all of us continues. Until such time as people get a cash call for a wedding, house deposit, car, bills, holidays etc. But that’s not a lack of belief. That’s people enjoying their profits and laying on a beach with a mojito tittering at the nurdlers in their boiler rooms back in Blighty.
Upwards Greatlanders. A bit sideways occasionally, down inevitably. But definitely winning by sitting on our stockpile.

Thanks TT. Awfully nice of you.
My views are heavily influenced by the knowledge of others including those I chatted to at our recent Stroud Gang meet.
I can’t recommend highly enough the benefit of networking and sharing knowledge. Having done that I’m happy to share how my view has changed, hoping in the process to prevent surprises for other genuine holders.
It is only my view though but I feel like it chimes with much of what Shaun said when here. That was also a good example of when many of our posters attended, networked, and shared knowledge generously.
Well done to the Stirling Gang and it would be great if NE England, Midlands, Wales, and Southern England meets could take place.

Have to agree MF11 and subsequent posters. I’ve rewired my brain to look at the 5% as gold in ground value. The money we get for this is making Shaun upset given what he knows. There’s no sugar coating it.
HOWEVER. Once that is gone (I see it as a painful visit to the dentist) we will see a response from PIs who jump in and pick up the JPM or whoever’s short.
Bank financing will be announced (my view only on the sequencing) shortly afterwards and the move away from 13p will seriously start.
AND none of us should equate 5% value to the 25% we retain. That 25% is NOT 5 x 5% equivalent which is where my head was at until recently. The 25% we hang on to for dear life will multiply in value with all our growth at Hav as we find more rivers of gold there and approach first production.
Using that dental metaphor we’ll be having a painful extraction followed soon by some shiny new veneers. Short term pain, long term shine.
Sorry. Best to be straight about it.
GGP is always my 95% majority share and I’ve liberated money from another share yesterday ready to pounce on more golden tickets.
