The next focusIR Investor Webinar takes places on 14th May with guest speakers from WS Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund. Please register here.
You'll appreciate that there are 43 slides here and only 20 minutes to speak about them. Much of the science was skipped over quickly in favour of the headline information. So it's good to read more in depth about the science and understand more fully how much the experts at Valirx are doing.
Yes, I noted that one on the day, ratty.
Worth watching George's spiel if you get the chance (i.e. if Shares Mag ever post the video) - the extra nuggets such as the 6 interested parties and the 201 dose comment occurred in the questions at the end of the presentation.
My paltry effort:
On the twelfth day of Christmas, my Valirx gave to me:
12 Weeks and counting
11 Fingers drumming
10 Choo Choos leaving
9 Trolls a-weeping
8 Holders leaping
7 Wives a-kissing
6 Favoured Pharmas
VAL-do-raa-aah-do
4 Hold for golds
3 Topping ups
2 pounds a share
and a deal by the end of Q1
The latest Shares Investor evening video on the Shares Magazine website is still only 30th Oct so looks like they haven't yet posted the five videos from last Thursday. The guy I spoke to at Edinburgh said "should be Tuesday" - soesn't mean to say it will be..... I'll keep an eye out for them.
Probably why he calls himself Michael.
Yes Freddie - I did see the ReNeuron presentation. While I don't know the ins and outs of the business , the tone was upbeat looking forward to PISCES III, which it is hoped will have placebo control group unlike PISCES I and II.
CTX Phase IIb (multi-centre trial in US) data expected early 2020.
Noted that Woodford has 35% stake and that they are gearing to a non-dilutive route using business development for funding.
Sorry - I didn't really get too much more than that, but as with VAL, the video should be available hopefully by Tuesday.

Tony, I didn't notice you there so WTF do you know? You can question their integrity all you like but you seem to be a touch chicken to do it to their faces.
Tozerk- you weren't there either so you too missed your opportunity to ask those questions.
Good luck both of you
I thought that given he had only 20 mins plus questions, GM was erudite and focused on the useful stuff, rather than too much on the science. The questions were on the tame side but there was an opportunity to speak with him afterwards.
One of the questions though was 'how difficult is it to get 401 to stage III?' GM explained that there are 6 parties involved and territorial arguments between 2 of them.
On 201, GM now knows what the dose should be, there having been an event for a patient with hypertension.
401 quote "late stages of negotiating the exact details".
Don't ask me what it means though. Apparently the video should be available on the Shares Magazine website by perhaps Tuesday (I asked the MC) so you can decide for yourselves whether it was positive or not.
Personally I thought it was.
tozerk - why don't you set it up? you have a lot of gripes against the board, yet it seems as though you'd rather someone else did the donkeywork.
BTW - Edinburgh university has its own Cancer Research centre so perhaps there is a ready-made audience there.
As I work in Glasgow, I am intending to pop along, but will be following my own agenda and not asking questions for everyone else - just to be clear....
I'll report back in the unlikely event that there is owt juicy
Tired of tozerk banging on......and on......and on - the only point he/she makes with which I agree is that the BOD don't have enough skin in the game.
Seems like whatever is RNS'd is just not enough for tozerk. The deal will be done when the deal will be done. If you want more info, contact the company, attend the meetings and direct your questions to their faces rather than rant, rant, ranting on.
CHELSEA7 and January are filtered as well - as the subject says: "Life's too short"
