I agree, I’m in here but this isn’t great news. Before ODX quoted for the deal they must have known the potential revenue, but don’t share that with us.
There could have been a statement saying “the revenue from this contract could be as high as ...”
Like it or not, the reason Omega didn’t mention the potential value of the contract is because it’s not big.
The question is, how much revenue is this initial three year deal worth ?
We are hiring staff, building a corridor to connect the two buildings, we’ve bought and borrowed equipment.
All ready for April, it’s 1st March on Monday ffs. We haven’t even sold the stock we’ve already been making. So let’s make shedloads more of the stuff we can’t sell.
There’s got to be a great reason for this or Colin is a .... not a king.
The order must arrive by the end of next week surely.
Do we even know which test we are making ?
I hope you’re right but didn’t Boris say PCR tests for schools?
Can Omega manufacture these ?
After the director sales this week. These tweets are very positive and very welcome.
Just not one single order so far, in a pandemic and 6 directors selling shares.
I don’t think it’s sinister, but it’s a concern. Huge contract/s very close and 4 or 5 directors sell shares, some them sell a large percentage.
One or two I get, they need money perhaps.
So many selling so close, worrying.
Totally agree, and everyone is concerned just not admitting it.
Executive director or non executive, if you think the big deals are coming you’ll make much more money by keeping the shares.
Maybe the deals are coming (which I think they are) but the profit margins are very low and they know the share price will drop short term as everyone is expecting much more.
Hope I’m wrong.
I have , Goldtrig.
Sorry about that.
Please explain the tax benefits of selling now not when ODX are £1.50, £2 or £5.
If you can show me that it makes sense to sell the shares now for tax reasons, looking at the potential of £1.50, £2 or £5 in two months I’ll be pleased to see it.
Very pleased as I want this to work
Goldtig- the money they save on tax is worth more than what they would get if the shares increased massively after a big order. Is that what you’re saying ?
Are you kidding ???
What a ridiculous answer.
So the money they save on tax by selling is worth more than what will happen to their shares if they get a massive order ?
You’re straight in to criticise but your reply is utter rubbish.
If Colin sells any shares, even just a few to buy a new tartan rug, I’m out.
One director selling shares just before a big contract is due to be announced is odd but ok there could be a good reason, but four or five, that’s a worry.
I’m like so many things that have happened prior to this so still in.
Why release that today, after the great news ffs !
Shame Boris mentioned he’s especially a fan of saliva tests.
That bit I wish didn’t hear.
Unless Omega will be making those ?
Omega need to come out and say that there’s no plans in the immediate future to raise money.
A simple tweet will do.
I think you should remove that message.
If it has been reversed (who knows), many people haven’t noticed ??
